Harihareshwar is a small town in the Raigad district of Maharashtra located just 200 km away from Mumbai. It is a popular weekend getaway from Mumbai and Pune for the tranquil beach holiday. The town is dotted with some beaches and temples and is famous for the rich variety of fruits and shrubs that tourists love to take back from home from Harihareshwar.
The city isn't much known for its markets. Hence, there isn't much to buy from the local markets. However, you can find two temples inside the greater complex of the Harihareshwar temple. The entrance to the temple is lined up with some shops and local markets that sell the various religious souvenirs and the holy objects for the offerings inside the temple.
