The ancient Tam Toa church is still in operation despite being victim to the fatal bombing of Dong Hoi.
Tam Toa is an old Catholic Church built in the 19th century. The Church was once a central part of the Dong Hoi town but after a fatal bombing during the Vietnam War, only the church façade and the bell remains behind a wrought iron gate. The Church stands as a testimony to Vietnamese strength and attracts a large number of history buffs and war relic enthusiasts every year.
