Chua Van Son

Chua Van Son, Con Dao Islands Overview

Translating to mean 'Cloudy Hill Palace', the Van Son Pagoda is among the few religious buildings on the Con Dao Islands. Although not a place of importance from the religious point of view, the pagoda offers sweeping views of the Con Son Bay, the lake and of course, the town of Con Dao.

Van Son Pagoda is one of those places that you can add to your itinerary if you have some spare time on your hands. There is a flight of stairs one needs to climb to reach this place of worship. Many monks can be seen chanting making the ambience surreal. Proper dress (full-sleeved) is required here.
