Magellan's Cross, Cebu City Overview
This is a spot where Magellan baptised the Filipino Christians.
This place consists of an octagonal building in which there is a large cross present. This cross was established in the year 1541 by Magellan who had converted the local people to Christians. Some people believe that this cross isn't the one established by Magellan as it was destroyed by the local residents when this explorer left.
