Namadgi National Park, Canberra Overview

Namadgi National Park lies around 40 kilometres south of Canberra, adjacent to Kosciuszko National Park in New South Wales. Home to the indigenous Ngunnawal people, the park has diverse landscapes, with a large part being bushlands. Visitors can partake in several activites within the park, such as picnics, hiking and trekking along the walking trails, swimming, horse riding or birdwatching, among several others. One can also stay the night at camping sites or homesteads and enjoy barbecues.
