Phare Ponleu Selpak was established in 1994. Phare Ponleu Selpak in the local Khmer language means the Brightness of the Arts. The institute provides support to local children by educating and training young Cambodian students about various circus arts including clowning, juggling, dance shows, theatre, acrobats, educational programs, and social support. Young children are taught skills to enable them to make a living. You can watch all these performances along with good storytelling given by students of different ages.

Phare Ponleu Selpak is located 45 minutes from Battambang downtown. You can reach by hiring a shared Tuk Tuk for about 4 USD for a round trip. You can also get there by renting a motorbike for 5 USD per day.

Nice evening, visiting the art exhibitions and premises, having a nice tea at the café, and doing some shopping of artistic products at the shop. All ended by a great and amazings show.
