India is all set to witness the making of the tallest statue in the world. If you thought the 183 meter, Statue of Unity, standing in Gujarat was tall enough, here is another one which will be standing taller - a 251 Meters Lord Ram Statue in the holy town of Ayodhya.

The colossal 251 meter Lord Ram idol is going to be built on a 100-acre site adjoining the River Sarayu. The CM further added, “Along with the statue of Lord Shri Ram, a plan should be prepared for overall development of Ayodhya. There should be arrangements for basic tourist facilities along with digital museum, interpretation centre, library, parking, food plaza, landscaping based on theme of Lord Shri Ram,”. The mammoth statue is also going to consist of a 20- meter circle over it. Lord Ram will be adorned with a bow, arrow and a quiver.
