The pub has both indoor and outdoor seating, and depending on the day of the week, the dance floor can get rather crowded with the DJ playing a contemporary fusion of Western and Egyptian music. Calithea, modelled after a Greek tavern, has been running since 1937. Although they serve food, the majority of customers choose to drink beer or wine instead. They serve Mediterranean cuisines and delectable seafood like calamari, shrimp, etc. Another must try is the chicken! It's a tiny, authentical Alexandrian tavern on the corniche with reasonable prices, tasty food, and a comfy ambiance.

3. Spitfire

Spitfire is difficult to locate since it's tucked away on a corner of the street in Downtown Alexandria, but you'd be lucky to discover it. The walls are covered in old flags, posters, stickers, and tributes from people who have gone by, and an old sound system blasts punk music from the 1970s and 1980s. No matter what day of the week it is, Spitfire is constantly bustling with both locals and visitors from abroad in the light of vintage lamps. Although the inside may appear disorganised, it is recognised for its laid-back and convivial vibe. Prices are fair, and if you don't mind the slightly too loud music, it's the ideal location to really experience Alexandria's uniqueness. There is no food offered and a small selection of non-alcoholic beverages, but you may expect to find a variety of inexpensive spirits, wines, and beers.

It has more than 80 locations serving various markets in malls, gas stations, educational institutions, and office buildings. With its debut location in the centre of Zamalek, Cilantro introduced the idea of "Chain Coffee Shops" to the Egyptian market in 2000. It was a branch that began Egypt's coffee shop scene's evolution and led to the current updated coffee shop style. It now offers a huge selection of reasonably priced food and beverage items that are tailored to the needs of the customers!

12. Cap D’or Bar and Restaurant

A historical tavern with a lovely atmosphere that serves good local alcoholic beverages may have a musician playing the ood, an Egyptian instrument, and singing at night. Cap d'Or has a stunning antique art nouveau pub that serves a variety of Stellas (the main beer brand in Egypt) in addition to several cognacs. Visitors believe it is fairly prized however remember to ask before you tuck in as drinks will likely come with nibbles that may be subject to a fee. It is cosy, modern, and highly Instagrammable. However, the cost is not that tempting, with the majority of drinks ranging between LE 100 and 150. With a minimum charge of EGP 350 per person, Jeeda's is unquestionably on the more costly end of the spectrum.
