Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Istanbul - Explore Taksim Square

Arrive in Istanbul.
Upon arrival at Istanbul, you will be greeted by a local representative and transferred to your hotel and check-in.
Later, visit Istiklal street and Taksim Square
Overnight stay in Istanbul

Day 2 Transfer to Kusadasi (Izmir) - City Tour

After breakfast, Depart for Izmir.
Arrive at Izmir airport and proceed towards Kusadasi
Have a panoramic city tour of Kusadasi.
Later, check-in to hotel.

Day 3 House of Virgin Mary and Ruins of Ephesus Tour

After breakfast, depart for the tour of House of Virgin Mary and Ruins of Ephesus
The Ephesus Amphitheater is the largest in the ancient world.
Also visit, the Odeon theater and Bath complexes built under Roman rule, The Temples of Hadrian and Sebastian
If time permits, visit the Terrace Houses, with mosaic floors and frescoed walls.
Transfer to the hotel once the tour ends.

Day 4 Drive to Pamukkale & Visit the Cotton Castles & Mud Pool

After breakfast, pepart for Denizli Airport by flight.
Arrive at Denizli airport and transfer to Pamukkale.

Proceed towards Pamukale.
Visit Travertine’s at Cotton Castle.
Visit Hierapolis (Holy City).
Experience Mud Pool Bath.

Day 5 Drive to Cappadocia - Leisure Day

After breakfast, drive to Cappadocia
Check into the hotel

Day 6 Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride & Full Day Cappadocia Tour

Go for a Hot Air Balloon Ride at sunrise (6:00 AM)

We looked through 5 agencies before settling on D organizers for our Turkey trip (Read More). Initially we were sceptical due to the reviews, but we were glad to have booked with them. The trip was well organised with 2 days in each city of which one day was a full day guided tour and the second day was given free for self exploration . This allowed choice for my parents to rest on the second day since they were approaching their 60s . I would especially like to thank Bhargav who maintained good contact and communication with us throughout the whole trip from the beginning to the end from the visa process till we reached back home after the trip. I also feel that their rates are economical and budget friendly compared to the other agencies we first spoke to.

One of our transport vehicles from the airport to hotel during the trip in Ist (Read More)anbul was filled with the smell of cigarettes . One of the vehicles had an airconditioner problem in pamukkale though the driver was a sweet person.

Some days 2-3 shopping places however we enjoyed everything.
