Day 1 Arrival in Madurai
  • Arrive at the airport.
  • On arrival at Madurai, check in to the hotel.
  • Later, proceed sightseeing.
  • Visit Meenakshi Amman Temple, Thirumalai Nayak Palace, Thirupparankundram, and Gandhi Museum.
  • Overnight stay at Madurai.
  • After breakfast, proceed to Rameshwaram.
  • On arrival at Rameswaram, check in to the hotel.
  • Later, proceed sightseeing.
  • Visit Ramanathaswamy Temple, Agnitheertham, Dhanushkodi (jeep cost extra), Former President Shri. Dr. Abdul Kalam’s House, and Pamban Bridge.
  • Overnight stay at Rameshwaram.
  • After breakfast, proceed to Kanyakumari.
  • On arrival in Kanyakumari, check in at the hotel.
  • Later, proceed sightseeing.
  • Visit Padmanabhapuram Palace, Thiruvalluvar Statue, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Bhagavathy Amman Temple, Gandhi Memorial, Bharat Mata Temple, Kanyakumari Beach, and Sunset View Point.
  • Overnight stay at Kanyakumari.
  • After breakfast, proceed to Kovalam.
  • On arrival in Kovalam, check in to the hotel.
  • In the evening, relax at the Kovalam beach.

  • After breakfast, proceed to Thiruvananthapuram.
  • Visit the Secretariat, Museum, Mini Zoo, and the famous Padmanabhaswamy Temple (optional).
  • After lunch, head back to Kovalam.
  • In the evening, visit the crescent-shaped beaches of Kovalam, i.e. Samudra Beach, Hawa Beach & Lighthouse Beach.
  • Overnight stay at Kovalam.
  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Alleppey.
  • Around 1200 hrs, check in at the houseboat and start your cruise through the rich and splendid backwater.
  • Relax at the houseboat.
  • Cruise along the village sides and paddy fields, witnessing the Kerala villages' core life for the whole day.
  • Overnight stay at the houseboat.
  • In the morning, after breakfast check out from the hotel.
  • Drive to Thekkady. Thekkady is a world-famous wildlife sanctuary and it is also called Periyar.
  • On arrival, check in to the hotel.
  • In the afternoon, proceed for a game viewing cruise on Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar, etc.
  • Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
  • Overnight stay at Thekkady.
  • After breakfast, leave for Munnar
  • On arrival at Munnar check in at the hotel.
  • In the afternoon visit Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park - open as per the directions by the forest authorities) & Tea Museum.

We visited Amsterdam, Paris and Switzerland in this family trip. Tour was well organized by Make My Trip. Tour guide Ronnie was excellent. Time management was good. All the days we could get Indian Fo (Read More)od atleast once in a day. Only weak point was vary small rooms for stay. Overall a wonderful tour.
