Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Jammu - Transfer to Katra

Arrive at Jammu Airport or Jammu Railway Station.
Meet our representative and proceed to Katra, the base camp for the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage.
Check-in to your hotel in Katra and freshen up.
Rest of the day at leisure to explore the local markets or relax.
Overnight stay in Katra.

Day 2 Vaishno Devi Darshan - Transfer to Srinagar

Early morning, start your trek to the sacred Vaishno Devi Temple (approximately 12 km one way) or opt for a pony or palanquin (at your own expense).
Seek blessings at the temple and return to Katra after the darshan.
Check-out from your hotel in Katra and drive to Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir.
On arrival, check-in to your hotel in Srinagar.
Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 3 Srinagar Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Srinagar.
Visit the famous Mughal Gardens - Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh.
Explore the Shankaracharya Temple and the Hazratbal Shrine.
Enjoy a Shikara ride on the Dal Lake and witness the floating gardens.
Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 4 Srinagar to Gulmarg - Day Trip

After breakfast, check-out from your hotel in Srinagar.
Drive to Gulmarg, a picturesque hill station known for its meadows and snow-capped peaks.
Enjoy the breathtaking views and indulge in optional activities like Gondola ride and skiing (at your own expense).
Later, proceed to Pahalgam and check-in to your hotel.
Overnight stay in Pahalgam.

Day 5 Pahalgam to Srinagar

After breakfast, check-out from your hotel in Pahalgam.
Drive back to Srinagar and spend the day at leisure.
You can explore the local markets for shopping or visit the famous Jama Masjid and Lal Chowk.
Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 6 Departure from Srinagar

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Srinagar.
Depending on your departure time, you can do some last-minute shopping or sightseeing.

What's Good: We liked every aspect of the tour to Bhutan. The tour and travel agent M/s A V travels Jaigon has done a great job to make the tour very much enjoyable. The hiking to tiger's nes (Read More)t was a challenging one for us the senior citizens ( excluding my son) but gave us much satisfaction. The guide Mr. Tashi was of great help and care. Thanks one and all.
What's Not Good: The fees charged at some places we felt bit higher.

What's Good: ## Bhutan Experience Our journey through Bhutan was largely impressive, with knowledgeable guides who showcased the country's rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes with g (Read More)enuine enthusiasm. The drivers navigated the winding mountain roads with skill and professionalism, ensuring our comfort throughout most of the journey. However, our second night at Paro Rema Resort fell short of expectations in terms of dining. The food quality was disappointing compared to other meals we enjoyed in Bhutan, lacking both flavor and presentation that would be expected at a resort of this caliber. ## Sikkim Portion The transition between destinations proved problematic. Our transfer from Bhutan to Gangtok felt unnecessarily rushed, with a driver who seemed more concerned with completing the journey quickly than ensuring passenger comfort or allowing us to appreciate the scenic route. Upon arrival in Gangtok, we were pleased with our hotel's prime location on MG Road, offering convenient access to local attractions, shopping, and dining options. Unfortunately, the hotel's service standards did not match its excellent location. Staff responsiveness was inconsistent, and several basic amenities were either missing or required multiple requests. Overall, while the Bhutan portion of our tour delivered a memorable experience, the Sikkim segment would benefit from significant improvements to transportation and accommodation service quality.

What's Good: Our trip to Bhutan was unexpected and was very last minutes plan, however our agent Reshma from Yolmo holiday successfully made it worth of money and time both… our guide Sonam De (Read More)na and driver Thupten were both the best I could ever tell, they are very kind and were very adjustable when we changed our itinerary the last minute. We are so satisfied with our trip and will definitely recommend them to our friends and family circle.
