Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Srinagar Arrival

Upon your arrival at Srinagar Airport, you will be greeted by our representative, who will assist you with the transfer to your hotel. Assistance with check-in formalities will be provided for a hassle-free experience.
Explore Srinagar:
After freshening up, begin your tour of Srinagar with a visit to the famous Mughal Gardens, known for their stunning landscapes, terraced lawns, and vibrant floral displays:

Nishat Bagh (Garden of Bliss): Enjoy the beautiful views of Dal Lake and the Zabarwan Mountains.
Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love): Built by Emperor Jahangir for his wife, this garden is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Chashme Shahi (Royal Spring): Known for its fresh water spring believed to have medicinal properties.

Religious Sites:

Hazratbal Shrine: A revered Muslim shrine located on the northern shores of Dal Lake.
Shankaracharya Temple: Perched on Shankaracharya Hill, offering panoramic views of Srinagar.

Evening:

Return to your hotel for a sumptuous dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 2 Srinagar to Sonamarg Excursion( 80 km, 4 to 5 hrs)

Morning Drive to Sonamarg:

After an early breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Sonamarg, also known as the "Meadow of Gold," surrounded by spectacular snow-capped mountains and lush green meadows.

Things to Do in Sonamarg:

Stroll along the Sindh River, known for trout and mahseer fishing in summer.
Opt for a pony ride to one of the nearby glaciers for a fun-filled experience with snow and ice (at your own expense).

Return to Srinagar:

In the evening, return to your houseboat in Srinagar.

Optional Activity:

Enjoy a serene Shikara ride on Dal Lake to soak in the tranquility of the surroundings.

Evening:

Relax on your houseboat, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 Srinagar to Gulmarg ( 50 km, 2 to 3 hrs)

Transfer to Gulmarg:

After breakfast, check out from your Srinagar accommodation and proceed to Gulmarg, a popular hill station and skiing destination.

Gulmarg Activities:

Take the world-famous Gondola Ride (cable car) in two phases, reaching an altitude of 14,000 feet. Experience stunning panoramic views of the Himalayas.
Enjoy activities such as pony rides or sledding (at an additional cost).

Evening:

Return to the hotel in Gulmarg for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4 Gulmarg to Pahalgam( 140 km, 5 to 6 hrs)

After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and drive to Pahalgam. After reaching Pahalgam, we check in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day leisurely. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5 Pahalgam Local sightseeing

Aru Valley: Begin your day with a visit to Aru Valley, a picturesque destination surrounded by lush meadows and snow-capped peaks. Enjoy activities like horse riding, hiking, or trekking.
Chandanwari: Next, visit Chandanwari, the starting point of the famous Amarnath Yatra. Admire the stunning views of the Lidder River and snow-dusted mountains. You can indulge in snow sledding here (at your own expense).
Baisaran (Mini Switzerland):
A short 6 km drive from Pahalgam takes you to Baisaran, known for its stunning meadows, pristine lakes, and tranquil settings. Activities like pony rides and zorbing are available.
Betaab Valley: Conclude your sightseeing with a visit to Betaab Valley, named after the Bollywood movie Betaab. This valley boasts deodar forests, pine trees, and the Lidder River flowing through the heart of it.
Evening: Return to the hotel in Pahalgam for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6 Pahalgam to Srinagar ( 90 km, 4 to 5 hrs)

Transfer to Srinagar:

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive back to Srinagar.

Check-in:

On arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy leisure for the rest of the day.

Evening:

Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7 Srinagar Drop

After breakfast, check out from hotel & transfer to Srinagar Airport to board your flight with memorable experiences

Resort and hotel suggestions to suit my budget and strategically selected closer to places of interest was truly 5 star service from the agent. My solo trip was made safe and comfortable. Great sugge (Read More)stions were made to choose places to visit to make the trip fun, enjoyable and memorable. This awesome trip in a very long time was fun and refreshing. The paradise in Kerala will transcend your soul to haven. People are welcoming and friendly. I recommend Varkala tranquil beeches and Kovalam backwaters for the ultimate fun experience. Gods Own Country’s Kitchen is recommended for some great food and live music on the Varkala cliff point. If south temple architecture peeks your interest, then there are a few gems from ancient times hidden here to explore maintaining sanctity and faith in true form. Solo travellers pay couples rate which can be heavy on the purse. South India need to warm up to the idea that solo traveller numbers are increasing, male and female alike and in all age groups. Not only the cost of travel but people’s outlook need to change. Most of the temples here are only for believers in faith. Kanyakumari was crowded during the Diwali break. The seashore here is only to soak in the view. Thiruvananthapuram Sri Padmanabhaswamy temple darshan was divine however fleeting it maybe, but the mandapa which adorns the beautiful sculptures is out of bounds for devotees. The Garbhagudi could be well lit, so the devotees can properly catch a glimpse of the lord and be blessed. Since architecture is out of bounds recommend special entry for swift darshan.
