Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive in Kochi
- Arrive at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
- Check-in at the hotel.
- In the afternoon, proceed for the Kochi city tour.
- Visit Dutch Palace and Jewish Synagogue, the Fort Kochi area which houses St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets.
- Overnight stay at the hotel in Kochi.
Day 2 Kochi to Munnar
- Transfer to Munnar, a beautiful hill station.
- En route, halt for refreshments, and visit Valara Waterfalls.
- On arrival check in to the hotel.
- Visit the tea plantations in the evening at Devikulam.
- Later visit the local market and buy aromatic tea from the shops.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 Munnar Sightseeing
- After breakfast, a sightseeing tour of Munnar.
- Visit the Tata Tea Museum and enjoy the beautiful serenity of Munnar (famous for its tea plantations) (closed on Monday) and Eravikulam National Park to view a variety of flora and fauna.
- Enjoy local food/cuisine at a good restaurant (personal expense).
- Later in the afternoon, visit Mattupetty Lake and Dam as well as Echo Point, which is famous for its ‘echo phenomenon.
- In the evening, return to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4 Munnar to Thekkady
- After an early breakfast, check out of the hotel.
- Drive to Thekkady.
- En route, visit Chillies Spice Garden.
- On arrival in Thekkady and check in to the hotel and have lunch (personal expense).
- In the afternoon, proceed for a boat cruise at Periyar Lake (on a direct payment basis).
- Afterwards, you can do a spice plantation tour (personal expense).
- Later in the evening, you may go to the theatre (non-air-conditioned/ on direct payment) to experience the traditional Kalari Show.
- OR go shopping OR opt for an Elephant Ride (on a direct payment basis) in the evening.
- Return to the hotel and enjoy time at leisure.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 Thekkady to Alleppey
- After an early breakfast, check out of the hotel in Thekkady.
- Afterwards, proceed to Alleppey known as the ‘Venice of the East.
- On arrival, check in at the hotel.
- Visit the Mullakkal Raja Rajeswari Temple and opt for a short boat cruise through the backwaters (on direct payment).
- In the evening visit the Alappuzha beach and enjoy the sunset.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 Alleppey to Kumarakom
- After breakfast, drive to Kumarakom.
- On arrival at Kumarakom, check in to the traditional houseboat.
- Enjoy the cruise through the backwaters.
- Later, you can enjoy Ayurvedic spa facilities at your lakefront resort or explore the nearby villages (on your own).
- Overnight stay at Kumarakom.
Day 7 Bird-watching in Kumarakom
- After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing in Kumarakom.
- Visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary to view the incredible birdlife of Vembanad Lake.
- Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- Or Indulge in kayaking or Canoeing (on your own)
- Overnight stay at Kumarakom.
Day 8 Departure
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the Kochi Airport for your return journey back home.

We received exceptional service from Ram and his team at World Travel Destinatio (Read More)n. They arranged outstanding accommodations and diligently monitored our flight and transportation schedules, ensuring seamless travel. Their responsiveness and availability throughout the tour were truly impressive.
While we were pleased with the overall service, there were a couple of discrepan (Read More)cies. We were informed that the driver would provide guided tours, but unfortunately, this did not materialize. Additionally, the candlelight dinner arrangement was expected to be in a serene setting, but instead, it was held at a bustling Bollywood-themed restaurant.
