Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Kochi

Arrive at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
Check-in at the hotel.
In the afternoon, proceed for the Kochi city tour.
Visit Dutch Palace and Jewish Synagogue, the Fort Kochi area which houses St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Kochi.

Day 2 Kochi to Munnar

Transfer to Munnar, a beautiful hill station.
En route, halt for refreshments, and visit Valara Waterfalls.
On arrival check in to the hotel.
Visit the tea plantations in the evening at Devikulam.
Later visit the local market and buy aromatic tea from the shops.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast, a sightseeing tour of Munnar.
Visit the Tata Tea Museum and enjoy the beautiful serenity of Munnar (famous for its tea plantations) (closed on Monday) and Eravikulam National Park to view a variety of flora and fauna.
Enjoy local food/cuisine at a good restaurant (personal expense).
Later in the afternoon, visit Mattupetty Lake and Dam as well as Echo Point, which is famous for its ‘echo phenomenon.
In the evening, return to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 Munnar to Thekkady

After an early breakfast, check out of the hotel.
Drive to Thekkady.
En route, visit Chillies Spice Garden.
On arrival in Thekkady and check in to the hotel and have lunch (personal expense).
In the afternoon, proceed for a boat cruise at Periyar Lake (on a direct payment basis).
Afterwards, you can do a spice plantation tour (personal expense).
Later in the evening, you may go to the theatre (non-air-conditioned/ on direct payment) to experience the traditional Kalari Show.
OR go shopping OR opt for an Elephant Ride (on a direct payment basis) in the evening.
Return to the hotel and enjoy time at leisure.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5 Thekkady to Alleppey

After an early breakfast, check out of the hotel in Thekkady.
Afterwards, proceed to Alleppey known as the ‘Venice of the East.
On arrival, check in at the hotel.
Visit the Mullakkal Raja Rajeswari Temple and opt for a short boat cruise through the backwaters (on direct payment).
In the evening visit the Alappuzha beach and enjoy the sunset.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6 Alleppey to Kumarakom

After breakfast, drive to Kumarakom.
On arrival at Kumarakom, check in to the traditional houseboat.
Enjoy the cruise through the backwaters.
Later, you can enjoy Ayurvedic spa facilities at your lakefront resort or explore the nearby villages (on your own).
Overnight stay at Kumarakom.

Day 7 Bird-watching in Kumarakom

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing in Kumarakom.
Visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary to view the incredible birdlife of Vembanad Lake.
Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Or Indulge in kayaking or Canoeing (on your own)
Overnight stay at Kumarakom.

Day 8 Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the Kochi Airport for your return journey back home.

On our arrival at kochi airport ,the cab driver as already there and it was Toyota etios which is well maintained and driver is bilingual so we don't get any pr (Read More)oblem in dealing with our tour, We went to munnar watching beautiful views of water falls and natural greenery of the mountains. After reaching at the munnar the hotel Monsoon grand was located at the mountain and surrounded by tea , evening view was beautiful rooms were neat and clean, staff was good, food was outstanding There After we went to thekkady hotel crown valley which was one plus than the previous property , you can enjoy spa , elephant ride and some traditional kerala dance and martial art there, Herr also food was great and worth visiting place again. Thereafter we went to alleppey that is situated at the bank of vembanad lake, here also scenic views are beautiful and natural we stepped in to astonishing houseboat that is also very good and we'll maintained , you can enjoy some rides there in speed boats. The food was again great and tasty. The memories I captured on camera is nothing than what I captured in my eyes and hearts...that stays forever with me.

Over all experience was good. Representative/coordinator vishal was friendly and was coordinating well.. able to book package on time. Vishal also recommende (Read More)d on various places to get us itinerary worth for money. First Hotel in Alleppey we had worst experience with unfriendly staff..he quickly shifted us to new hotel, we were bit relieved. Driver was unfriendly person, he also he skipped showing famous temple on way to Alleppey. Otherwise over all had good experience of kerela trip.
