Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Kochi
- Arrive at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
- Check-in at the hotel.
- In the afternoon, proceed for the Kochi city tour.
- Visit Dutch Palace and Jewish Synagogue, the Fort Kochi area which houses St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets.
- Overnight stay at the hotel in Kochi.
Day 2 Kochi to Munnar
- Transfer to Munnar, a beautiful hill station.
- En route, halt for refreshments, and visit Valara Waterfalls.
- On arrival check in to the hotel.
- Visit the tea plantations in the evening at Devikulam.
- Later visit the local market and buy aromatic tea from the shops.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 Explore Munnar
- After breakfast, a sightseeing tour of Munnar.
- Visit the Tata Tea Museum and enjoy the beautiful serenity of Munnar (famous for its tea plantations) (closed on Monday) and Eravikulam National Park to view a variety of flora and fauna.
- Enjoy local food/cuisine at a good restaurant (personal expense).
- Later in the afternoon, visit Mattupetty Lake and Dam as well as Echo Point, which is famous for its ‘echo phenomenon.
- In the evening, return to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4 Munnar to Thekkady
- After an early breakfast, check out of the hotel.
- Drive to Thekkady.
- En route, visit Chillies Spice Garden.
- On arrival in Thekkady and check in to the hotel and have lunch (personal expense).
- In the afternoon, proceed for a boat cruise at Periyar Lake (on a direct payment basis).
- Afterwards, you can do a spice plantation tour (personal expense).
- Later in the evening, you may go to the theatre (non-air-conditioned/ on direct payment) to experience the traditional Kalari Show.
- OR go shopping OR opt for an Elephant Ride (on a direct payment basis) in the evening.
- Return to the hotel and enjoy time at leisure.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 Thekkady to Kumarakom
- After breakfast, drive to Kumarakom.
- On arrival at Kumarakom, check in to the traditional houseboat.
- Enjoy the cruise through the backwaters.
- Later, you can enjoy Ayurvedic spa facilities at your lakefront resort or explore the nearby villages (on your own).
- Overnight stay at Kumarakom.
Day 6 Departure
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the Kochi Airport for your return journey back home.

Really had a excellent trip with family where the car service was fantastic. Mr (Read More)Manoj (on driverseat) was very nice, cooperative and was good human being also available at dot time, when needed. Boat riding at kovalam was nice. The visit was amazing. The hotels were good. I (Read More)think the new Delhi arrangement was good but only the local agent was very disappointing.
There were iternary booked on Monday but that places are closed on Mondays. Unab (Read More)le to go to periyar sanctuary park bcoz ticket were sold out 1 month back but it was in the iternary. Kanyakumari ticket had a 4 hours queue but we don't know we can book one day earlier on online. Jadayu cable car broke down. All this happen for to miscommunication and lack of information. The tempo traveller broke down for 4 hours on the was to thekaddy and all the program were delayed. The TT driver attitude was terrible, can't speak to him as he shouts for everything. Not helpful at all, drop us far away and make us walk. Need improve in all this area. Local agent didn't look into details.

Communication with the Aswamedham team was good and professional. Taxi driver Mr (Read More). JOJO was also helpful and professional. Sightseeing in Munnar and Alleppey was very beautiful.
Accommodation in Kovalam was not so good.
