Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival
  • Upon arrival at the airport, proceed to the arrival lounge.
  • A representative will assist with transportation to the hotel.
  • Proceed to Kandy and check in to the hotel.
  • Spend the day at leisure or if time permits, visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage (by self). The best times for a visit are at 10 am or in the afternoon, around 2 pm.

  • After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a city tour of Kandy.
  • Tour includes visits to Royal Botanical Gardens for the famous Spice garden and Orchid House.
  • Kandy is also the venue of the annual Kandy Esala Perahera. Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic to learn more about the fascinating history of the region.
  • In the evening, watch a beautiful Kandy cultural dance performance.
  • Overnight stay at hotel.
  • After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Nuwara Eliya.

It was a memorable trip to Sri Lanka and worth every minute spent there. FLYING DAYS really took care of every bit and pieces needed for the pleasant 9 days stay/travel/food there and their contribut (Read More)ion in taking care of guest is amazing. I too went blindfolded / Trusted them . They were flexible in planning and accommodated our request. Overall a great place and we made a good choice to go with FLYING DAYS. Thank you team.
