Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Nairobi & Evening Leisure
- The journey begins in Nairobi, Kenya's capital city.
- Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative.
- Transfer to your Nairobi hotel for check-in and relaxation.
- The remainder of the day is at your leisure, with optional beach exploration (at your expense).
- Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Nairobi.
Day 2 Nairobi to Lake Nakuru - Afternoon Wildlife Safari
- After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park.
- Arrive at Lake Nakuru in time for a game drive.
- Check-in at Lake Nakuru Lodge, have lunch, and relax.
- Enjoy an afternoon game drive to witness the spectacular flamingos, white and black rhinos, and other wildlife.
- Have dinner and stay overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.
Day 3 Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha - Boat Safari
- Depart Lake Nakuru for Lake Naivasha after breakfast.
- Arrive at Lake Nakuru, check-in and have lunch.
- Explore the lake and wildlife around it on a boat safari.
- Savor dinner and an overnight stay at Lake Naivasha.
Day 4 Hells Gate Exploration - Transfer to Masai Mara
- Head out early morning to hike or bike around Hells Gate National Park.
- You can have a packed picnic breakfast in Hells Gate.
- Then you can start for Masai Mara.
- Check-in and lunch at the lodge in Masai Mara.
- You can either take rest or enjoy an afternoon game drive to spot the Big Five if time permits (optional).
- Have dinner and spend the night in the Masai Mara lodge.
Day 5 Full Day in Masai Mara - Game Drive, Hot Air Balloon Safari, & Overnight Stay
- You can opt for an early morning hot air balloon safari (additional cost).

- Witness the incredible Mara River and its diverse wildlife.

Day 6 Masai Mara to Amboseli - Transfer Day
- Leave for Amboseli National Park after breakfast.

- Reach Amboseli in early evening.

Day 7 Amboseli National Park - Full-Day Safari, Cultural Option, & Overnight Stay
- Begin the day with an early morning game drive.
- Return to camp for breakfast.
- Carry on with game drives all day with packed picnic lunch.
- You can also opt to visit a Masaai Village (optional).
- Return to the lodge for dinner and spend the second night in Amboseli.
Day 8 Amboseli to Tsavo West - Mzima Springs Walk & Tsavo River Bridge
- After breakfast, journey to Tsavo West National Park.
- Check-in at your accommodation.
- Lunch at the lodge.
- Explore Mzima Springs on a guided walk tour.
- Visit Tsavo River Bridge.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Tsavo West.
Day 9 Tsavo West to Tsavo East - Safari Exploration
- Depart for Tsavo East National Park after breakfast.
- Check-in at the lodge or camp.
- Lunch at the park.
- Head out on game drive to explore the park’s wildlife.
- Explore Shetani Lava Flow.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Tsavo East.
Day 10 Tsavo East to Shimba Hills - Morning Safari & Afternoon Exploration
- Start the day with an early morning game drive, with packed picnic breakfast.
- Continue the game drive until lunchtime, visiting Lugards Falls and Mudanda Rocks.
- After lunch, head to Shimba Hills National Reserve via Mombasa.
- Check-in to your accommodation.
- Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Shimba Hills.
Day 11 Shimba Hills - Game Drive, Cultural Encounter, & Overnight Stay
- Start your day with breakfast at the lodge.
- Head out for a thrilling game drive.
- Lunch at the lodge.
- Visit the local Digo village to learn about the culture.
- Return to the lodge for dinner and a second night stay in Shimba Hills.
Day 12 Sheldrick Falls - Journey to Diani Beach
- Start your day with an early morning game drive or a guided walk to Sheldrick Falls.
- Head back to the lodge for breakfast.
- Check-out and leave for Diani Beach, your final destination.
- Check-in the selected hotel.
- Head out to Diani Beach to spend the evening.
- Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 13 Explore Diani Beach - Excursion, Water Fun, & Overnight Stay
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- You have the option to participate in various activities, such as a full-day excursion to Wasini Island Safari Blue, where you can snorkel and swim with dolphins (additional cost).
- Alternatively, you can engage in water sports like jet skiing, scuba diving, and kite surfing.
- Overnight stay at the hotel in Diani Beach.
Day 14 Departure from Diani Beach

Reasons
1.Clear communication and replies always comes very quickly on WhatsApp.
2. Very genuine with suggestions and doesn't do things as a job or formality.
3. James is very knowledgeable.
4. The enthusiasm and passion shown by James was just so infectious.
5. The planning of itinerary takes care of all the finer details.
6. They really take care of your focus and they don't try to sell anything you are not interested in. For example we skipped the village visit because we didn't see value in it.
7. Quite flexible and adjusts as things progress.

The entire trip was handled with extreme professionalism by both Janet and our g (Read More)uide Bonnie.
We got to see the Big5 within 3 days of our itenary and more on the next days. Janet was very thorough with our itenary and helped us throughout and Bonnie knew all the best spots on all of our game drives. We didn't feel rushed throughout our tour, because it is designed very well to accomodate enough rest. 10/10 recommend
We didn't expect Kenya to be so cold, so at some places we missed warm water for (Read More) wash

From the very beginning, Christine and Judith from Donwel Tours were highly atte (Read More)ntive to what we were looking to get from our first ever trip to Kenya, and Africa, for that matter. We wanted to cover a lot of ground, and were going from one agency to another before we found Donwel as most agents couldn't quite squeeze everything we wanted into our itinerary. Judith and Christine however made it all possible. Good quality stays everywhere, regular communication through the trip to ensure we were ok and were getting what we wanted. Special shoutout to Teeman, our driver who absolutely fantastic, drove safely and ensured our safety and comfort throughout the trip, regularly coordinating with Christine. This is an excellent team and we would highly recommend their services.
