Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Ambala to Chandigarh

On arrival, pick up from airport or railway station.
Meet with your representatives.
Depart for Chandigarh.
Arrive in Chandigarh and check in at the hotel.
After freshening up visit Mansa Devi Temple, Rose Garden, Rock Garden, Sukhna Lake.
Overnight stay at Chandigarh.

Day 2 Chandigarh to Chintpurni

After breakfast check out from the hotel.
Depart for Chintpurni.
On the way visit the Naina Devi temple.
Arrive in Chintpurni and check in to the hotel
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 Chintpurni to Dhramshala

After breakfast check out the hotel.
Depart for Dharamshala.
On the way visit Chintpurni temple, Baglamukhi, Sitlamata Devi, Jawaliji temple, Kangra Devi local market.
In Dharamshala check in to the hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 Dhramshala to Chamunda

After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
Visit Dalali Lama Temple, Bhagsu Nath Temple, and Mall Road.
Depart for Chamunda Devi.
After arrival check-in at the hotel.
After freshening up visit Chamunda Devi temple.
Dinner at hotel and overnight stay at Chamunda Ji.

Day 5 Chamunda to Katra

After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
Depart for Katra.
Katra is the starting point for the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage.
On arrival check-in at the hotel.
Overnight stay in the hotel at Katra.

Day 6 Vaishno Devi Darshan

In the early morning, after breakfast, proceed to the Holy temple of Maa Vaishno Devi.
The temple is situated on the top of the hill to visit this temple one has to hire a pony on their own or travel by foot.
From Katra, the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage is about 14 km.
After the darshan return to the hotel.
Overnight stay in the hotel at Katra.

Day 7 Departure

After breakfast check out from the hotel.
Depart for Katra railway station before 2hrs as per the scheduled time for your onward journey back home.

I recently booked a trip through Travel Pedia, and unfortunately, my experience (Read More)with the hotel arrangements was disappointing(Dharmsala only )The room provided was not the same as what was shown to me during the enquiry. When I raised the issue, the Travel Pedia manager simply responded by saying, “The room has just been changed.” It seems Travel Pedia expects customers to verify the room type on their own, even when clear assurances were given during the booking. I feel this is misleading, and travelers should be cautious and insist on written confirmation of room details before finalizing any bookings with them.
