Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Delhi to Haridwar (220Kms / 6-7hrs drive one way) Height: 310 MTS.

Meet our driver at Delhi airport/station/hotel/home and drive to Haridwar. Check into the hotel upon arrival in Haridwar. In the evening, visit the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri (on your own and by walk). Overnight stay at Haridwar.
Haridwar: The holy city of Haridwar translates to "Gateway to God," and the breathtaking city, replete with temples, is a magnet for religious pilgrims from all over the globe. Religious festivals hold even further draw, and tourists can’t help but be compelled by the city’s aura of intense spirituality. Haridwar is one of the seven holiest places of the Hindus, located on the banks of the River Ganges. The sheer number of people gathering around Har-ki-Pairi Ghat gives Haridwar a chaotic but reverent feel.

In the morning, meet our driver at Haridwar and drive to Barkot via Mussoorie. En route, visit Mussoorie Lake and Kempty Fall in Mussoorie. Later, drive straight to Barkot. Check into the hotel upon arrival in Barkot. Overnight stay at Barkot.
Barkot Weather: Generally pleasant in summer, with temperatures ranging from 25-30°C. In winter, the days are pleasantly cool, but the nights are cold, with temperatures ranging from 10°C to 5°C.

Early morning after breakfast, drive to Jankichatti / Phoolchatti and start the trek from here to Yamunotri (6 Kms) (either by walk, horse, or doli at your own cost). After taking a bath in Jamunabai’s Kund (natural hot water spring) and having Darshan of "Yamunaji," return to Jankichatti by trek. Later, drive towards Barkot. Overnight stay at Barkot.
Yamunotri Temple: Maharani Gularia of Jaipur built the temple in the 19th century. It was destroyed twice in the present century and rebuilt again. At Yamunotri, one can cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the Tapt Kund. Pilgrims take this cooked rice home as "Prasad." Near the temple, "Pooja" can be offered to Divya Shila.
Yamunotri Weather: In summer, the maximum temperature is 18°C, and the minimum is 10°C. The days are pleasantly cool, but the nights are cold.

In the morning after breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi. Visit Shivgufa on the way to Uttarkashi. Upon arrival in Uttarkashi, visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi city. Check into the hotel. The day is free for rest. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

Drive alongside the river to reach Guptakashi and visit the Ardh Narishwar Temple in Guptakashi. Check into the hotel upon arrival in Guptakashi. Overnight stay at Guptakashi.
Guptkashi: The name Guptkashi means "Hidden Benares." According to mythology, when the Pandava brothers were searching for Lord Shiva, he concealed himself at Guptkashi, later fleeing to Kedarnath.
