After breakfast, drive to Barkot. Check into the hotel upon arrival in Barkot. Overnight stay at Barkot.

Early morning after breakfast, drive to Jankichatti / Phoolchatti and start your trek to Yamunotri (4 km). This can be done either by walking, horse, or Doli (at your own cost). After bathing in Jamunabai Kund's warm water and having "Darshan" of "Yamunaji," return to Jankichatti by trek. Later, drive towards Barkot and check out from the hotel. Overnight stay at Barkot.

Yamunotri Temple: Built by Maharani Gularia of Jaipur in the 19th century, the temple has been rebuilt twice due to destruction.

At Yamunotri, pilgrims can cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot waters of the Taptkund. This cooked rice is taken home as "Prasad." Near the temple, "Pooja" can also be offered to Divya Shila.

Surya Kund: There are a number of thermal springs near the temple, flowing into numerous pools. The most important of these is Surya Kund.

Divya Shila: A rock pillar worshipped before entering the Yamunotri Temple.

Yamunotri Weather: In summer, the maximum temperature is 18 degrees Celsius and the minimum is 10 degrees Celsius. Days are pleasantly cool, but nights are cold.
Morning after breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi. Check into the hotel upon arrival. Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

Uttarkashi is home to several ashrams and temples. The name reflects its similarity and location (north of) the city of Kashi (Varanasi). Like Varanasi, Uttarkashi is situated on the banks of the River Ganga.
Early morning, drive to Gangotri. En route, take a holy dip in Garam Kund at Gangnani. On arrival at Shree Gangotri, take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges, called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform Pooja and Darshan, then relax in the serene surroundings. Later, drive back to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

Gangotri Temple: Constructed by Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa in the 18th century, the temple is situated on the right bank of Bhagirathi.

Gangotri Weather: Summer temperatures range between 10-20 degrees Celsius. Light woolens are recommended. Winters are chilly, with heavy snowfall, and the region remains closed during this time.

Drive alongside the river to reach Guptkashi and visit the Ardh Narishwar Temple. Check into the hotel upon arrival. Overnight stay at Guptkashi.

Guptkashi Weather: Pleasant in summer, with temperatures ranging from 25-30 degrees Celsius. Winters are cold.Af
Morning after breakfast, proceed to Kedarnath. Enjoy Kedarnath Pooja Darshan and return to the hotel for an overnight stay at Kedarnath.

By Trek: The driver will drop you at Sonprayag. From there, take a local jeep to Gaurikund. Your trek to Kedarnath (22 km) begins here. After Darshan, follow the same route back to Sonprayag. Due to parking issues, drivers may park elsewhere, so you may need to arrange another taxi or wait for your driver.

Kedarnath Temple: One of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, Kedarnath is set against the majestic backdrop of the Kedarnath range. According to legend, Lord Shiva eluded the Pandavas here and took the form of a bull. The hump of the bull is worshipped at Kedarnath, while other parts are worshipped at the Panch Kedar shrines.

Kedarnath Weather: Due to its high altitude, Kedarnath remains cold for most of the year. Summer temperatures are around 20 degrees Celsius. Light woolens are recommended. Winters are severe, with temperatures dropping to 0 degrees Celsius and heavy snowfall.

What's Good: We liked every aspect of the tour to Bhutan. The tour and travel agent M/s A V travels Jaigon has done a great job to make the tour very much enjoyable. Sundeep's Trip to Paro, Punakha, Thimphu, Eastern Bhutan, Bhutan

What's Good: ## Bhutan Experience Our journey through Bhutan was largely impressive, with knowledgeable guides who showcased the country's rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes with g (Read More)enuine enthusiasm. The drivers navigated the winding mountain roads with skill and professionalism, ensuring our comfort throughout most of the journey. However, our second night at Paro Rema Resort fell short of expectations in terms of dining. The food quality was disappointing compared to other meals we enjoyed in Bhutan, lacking both flavor and presentation that would be expected at a resort of this caliber. ## Sikkim Portion The transition between destinations proved problematic. Our transfer from Bhutan to Gangtok felt unnecessarily rushed, with a driver who seemed more concerned with completing the journey quickly than ensuring passenger comfort or allowing us to appreciate the scenic route. Upon arrival in Gangtok, we were pleased with our hotel's prime location on MG Road, offering convenient access to local attractions, shopping, and dining options. Unfortunately, the hotel's service standards did not match its excellent location. Staff responsiveness was inconsistent, and several basic amenities were either missing or required multiple requests. Overall, while the Bhutan portion of our tour delivered a memorable experience, the Sikkim segment would benefit from significant improvements to transportation and accommodation service quality.
