Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Dehradun – Yamunotri
  • Begin your journey with an early morning departure from Sahastradhara Helipad in Dehradun.
  • Fly to Kharsali Helipad, the base for Yamunotri. Yamunotri, the source of the Yamuna River, is considered to absolve sins and protect devotees from untimely death.
  • Upon arrival, proceed on a 5 km trek (via palki or pony, included in the package) to Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna.
  • Offer prayers at the temple and visit Surya Kund, where devotees cook rice as prasad.
  • After darshan, return to Kharsali and check in to your hotel.
  • Overnight stay in Kharsali.
  • Depart from Kharsali to Harsil Helipad, the base for Gangotri. Gangotri is where Goddess Ganga is said to have descended to Earth, sanctifying it with her divine presence.
  • Upon arrival, take a scenic drive (approximately 25 km) to Gangotri Temple, located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River.
  • Participate in temple rituals and take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi River, which is considered the purest form of the Ganga.
  • Explore the serene Harsil Valley, surrounded by deodar forests and apple orchards, before returning to your hotel.
  • Overnight stay in Harsil.
  • Fly from Harsil to Sersi Helipad, where you will board a shuttle helicopter to Kedarnath Helipad (approximately 500 meters from the temple). Kedarnath is believed to be the site where Lord Shiva granted forgiveness to the Pandavas, symbolizing divine mercy and liberation.
  • Upon arrival, proceed for darshan at Kedarnath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva.
  • Attend the divine Aarti and soak in the serene surroundings of the temple, nestled amidst snow-clad peaks.
  • Return to Sersi and relax at your hotel.
  • Overnight stay in Sersi.
  • Depart from Sersi to Badrinath Helipad. Badrinath is a key pilgrimage site symbolizing salvation and is revered as one of the holiest places in Hinduism.
  • Upon arrival, visit the Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Attend the temple’s rituals and visit Tapt Kund, a natural hot spring near the temple believed to have healing properties.
  • Explore nearby attractions such as:
Mana Village, the last Indian village before the Tibetan border.
Vyas Gufa and Ganesh Gufa, where ancient scriptures were composed.
  • Return to your hotel for a restful evening.
  • Overnight stay in Badrinath.
  • After breakfast, attend the morning Aarti at Badrinath Temple.
  • Fly back to Dehradun from Badrinath Helipad, completing your sacred Char Dham Yatra.
  • On arrival at Sahastradhara Helipad, our representative will assist you with your onward journey.

What's Good: We liked every aspect of the tour to Bhutan. The tour and travel agent M/s A V travels Jaigon has done a great job to make the tour very much enjoyable. Sundeep's Trip to Paro, Punakha, Thimphu, Eastern Bhutan, Bhutan

What's Good: ## Bhutan Experience Our journey through Bhutan was largely impressive, with knowledgeable guides who showcased the country's rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes with g (Read More)enuine enthusiasm. The drivers navigated the winding mountain roads with skill and professionalism, ensuring our comfort throughout most of the journey. However, our second night at Paro Rema Resort fell short of expectations in terms of dining. The food quality was disappointing compared to other meals we enjoyed in Bhutan, lacking both flavor and presentation that would be expected at a resort of this caliber. ## Sikkim Portion The transition between destinations proved problematic. Our transfer from Bhutan to Gangtok felt unnecessarily rushed, with a driver who seemed more concerned with completing the journey quickly than ensuring passenger comfort or allowing us to appreciate the scenic route. Upon arrival in Gangtok, we were pleased with our hotel's prime location on MG Road, offering convenient access to local attractions, shopping, and dining options. Unfortunately, the hotel's service standards did not match its excellent location. Staff responsiveness was inconsistent, and several basic amenities were either missing or required multiple requests. Overall, while the Bhutan portion of our tour delivered a memorable experience, the Sikkim segment would benefit from significant improvements to transportation and accommodation service quality.
