Day 1 Arrival in Dharamshala
Arrive at Dharamshala via your preferred mode of transport and check in to your hotel. Visit the Dalai Lama Temple to experience peace and spirituality, and explore McLeod Ganj Market for Tibetan handicrafts and souvenirs. Continue to St. John in the Wilderness Church, known for its neo-Gothic architecture. Stroll through the serene Bhagsu Nag Waterfall and visit the Bhagsunath Temple. Overnight stay in Dharamshala.
After breakfast, visit Kangra Fort, an ancient fort with historical significance, and the Norbulingka Institute dedicated to preserving Tibetan culture. Enjoy the tranquil ambiance of the Tea Gardens of Dharamshala and relax at Naddi Viewpoint, which offers panoramic views of the Dhauladhar ranges. Overnight stay in Dharamshala.
Check out from Dharamshala and proceed to Palampur. Enroute, visit the Chamunda Devi Temple, a famous Hindu pilgrimage site. Explore the Tea Gardens of Palampur and the Tashi Jong Monastery, a quiet and serene Buddhist site. Relax by the Neugal Khad, a scenic picnic spot with a view of the Dhauladhar range. Overnight stay in Palampur.
Drive to Bir, the paragliding capital of India. Explore the Bir Tibetan Colony, visit the Chokling Monastery, and learn about Tibetan culture. Take a walk to the Deer Park Institute for a calming experience. Witness a stunning sunset at the Landing Site, where paragliders complete their flight. Optionally, enjoy a short trek to the Gunehar Waterfall. Overnight stay in Bir.
Experience paragliding from Billing to Bir, one of the world’s best paragliding sites (optional activity). Visit the Sherab Ling Monastery, a serene place for meditation and prayer. Check out from the hotel and proceed for your onward journey.
