Good resort but over rated

The view of the villa however be careful as not all villas has the same good view, the location is good and near to ubud center around 5 to 15 min based on traffic , the bed was comfortable , flexibility to change my room when another one became empty, room 306 has an amazing view which despite anything made me interested to extend my stay but due no availability couldnt , the price was good comparing to average again it depends on your villa or room, the spa experience is ok considering the price to other countries but so far the price is double any other spa outside the resort (picture attached for room 306), also the good thing is that most of the staff are good in English

At the beginning I was in room 301 which I already selected it was written that it has balcony and pictures doesnt show it , in fact it doesnt so be careful and look carefully to the pictures to assure that its not that one with only glass closed terrace, this room has bad view blocked by long trees, no blackout curtains and the separator door is with white glass so it will make you annoyed with the sunlight the private pool was ok not so bad and not so good from cleaning prospective, the room has broken wooden tiles and the separator right door stuck if you try to open or close the sink was draining slowly it seems it had blockage, (room 306) was way better however the main door is not closing properly and need to be sure you close with two ticks otherwise be carefully it may still open with one tick , why I gave them 7 for 1st dishonesty in taxi extra charging first time they charge taxi with 50 and the took 85 k while I am checking out they charge me 250 k and gave the driver only 100 k using the idea of that I am leaving , I already came from the airport with 150 k only, 2nd during my checkout despite I already tipped the bell man for bringing my luggage to the reception, he didnt offer any help to move it to the car or help in loading it (I know its my responsibility) 3d the outdoor pool is very small and outdated with a need to for renovation and its at the bottom of the resort so for those who have a problem with stairs or balance just be aware.

We had a lovely stay in Ulun Ubud

We loved the breakfast, the pool and the room. Lot of character and nice and quiet location with an amazing view. We had a family villa and it was spacious and clean. The massage in SPA centre was lovely too.

The amount of steep stairs and absences of handels can be challenging for little kids or elderly people.

Friendly stuff, good location, nice pool area.

Wifi had some issues, also breakfast could be improved.

Views amazing people amazing. Nice bathroom too and great balcony.

Food really let the place down. Also the pool area was not as good as expected, loungers were dated and on multiple occasions dirty plates and glasses were left down there overnight.
