A homely and welcoming stay in Torquay

Stuart has a lovely home and was so welcoming and hospitable throughout our stay. Stuart cooked a delicious fried breakfast for us and also provided cereal, fruit, coffee and tea. We would recommend Stuarts Homestay to anyone visiting Tourquay.

The hosts were very kind and helpful. Even breakfast was included which was a nice surprise! We could have a early check-in and a late check-out which was amazing! We could even borrow chairs for a festival in Torquay we were going to. We had a great stay!!

First time home stayers. Loved the experience and encourage others to consider.

Clean and quiet and very welcoming. Facilities were modern and very clean. All doors had locks for privacy. Rooms were spacious and bed was super comfy.

Super friendly hosts, made us feel very at home. They allowed us use of the kitchen and said we were welcome to help ourselves to various food. They had even set out breakfast options in the morning. Also washing machine, dryer and clothes line. Would highly recommend.

Excellent value, very safe and cosy accommodation.

I had not expected a cooked breakfast to be included so that was a lovely surprise in the morning. The breakfast was so yummy and cooked to personal taste. Check in was awesome and very relaxed. As I arrived quite late, arrangements were made for me to access the property and my room. The room was fine - bed, desk, opening window and wardrobe, bedside lamp and table. Bed was comfy - a thought a bit hard at first but I slept well so perhaps it was fine. The room got a little stuffy overnight but being able to open the window was a bonus. Met some lovely fellow travellers over breakfast. Felt very safe as a solo traveller. Couldn't spot the accommodation from 12000ft but was perfectly located for my skydiving adventure.

Parking was a little tricky in a tight street. Bit of a queue for the shower in the morning as there were 5 people and one shower. Navigated with respect and friendly banter - well as far as you can with 3 different languages spoken!

Hosts are awesome, down to earth ppl that made us feel right home! Great value for money/location!

Breakfast was delicious and very generous. Location is great, close to most things. Walking distance.

The key to the bedroom didnt lock from the outside so our belongings werent necessarily safe. Felt like we couldnt be too loud to respect everyone else in the house.
