We will not go back to this hotel.
Bed was comfortable. Nice shower.
The closet was too small. There could have been some hooks across from the closet to hang coats etc.
The bar on the top floor was lovely but it took over 30min for our table of 4 to get drinks. That's not acceptable.
When we discussed the problem with the individual we thought was in charge, he kept making excuses instead on
making an apology. That was Saturday night.
Friday night we were there for at least 4hrs. It was very busy and the staff was different that night. They seemed very efficient and very helpful.
Also, when we got back to our room our key card did not work. So we had to go downstairs and get new ones.
The night manager gave us a voucher for breakfast after we told him about the bar and problems up there.
So that was nice of him between no key card and the bar problem. We appreciated that.

The Westin Harborview is our first choice hotel in Portland.
The Westin Portland Harborview is a very nice hotel located in the heart of Portland, Maine. It is not far from the interstate, and there are lots of shops, restaurants and historical attractions nearby. On this occasion, we were taking in a play at the Portland Stage, just a block away. After the play, we enjoyed the panoramic view with a nightcap and snacks at the Top of the East, located on the 15th floor. The Eggs Benedict at the C2 restaurant the next morning were cooked perfectly. The staff at the hotel and restaurants were pleasant and attentive, and the valet had our car ready promptly at check out.

Would return again.
We stayed in a 1 Bedroom Junior Suite, and found the room comfortable with plenty of space. One of the favorite parts was the shower, it truly was great! The amenities were also fine, with more than adequate gym facilities. Elevators were quick and don't recall really having to wait for one. The staff was friendly and on the few times I stopped by they were always willing to help.
Overall, nothing major to not like. The only thing that was kind of meh was the lighting. I can't speak for all rooms, but at least in ours there was only a light switch in the bathroom and the main light by the door. The other lights throughout the living room and bedroom area were manual. This at times made for a pretty dark room and having to feel your way to a light. ...we managed fine.

It was a very nice hotel and the staff was very friendly!
I didn't like the housekeeping staff entering my room just before 8am while I was asleep which woke me up and the shower had hair in it when we arrived.
