Great family stay

Absolutely stunning location and the entire setting. Detached resort in the middle of the city with great pools and food venues. Nice people all over. Great price/quality overall

Few items: 1) drain in one of the bathrooms was not functioning properly (smell/little flooding). 2) There is full kitchen, but not a single item to actually use it - even cutlery is lacking, not even speaking of dishes etc. However, yes - there were some glasses for all occasions. 3) I personally missed a proper bar. There are nice places to eat/drink, but kind of needed a simple bar for beers. Not that it is critical, but

The room price seems a bit high without breakfast which was also high as a separate charge and extras were not put in the Marriott Bonvoy card

Disappointing

I liked the location of the hotel and how it was close to so many tourist destinations in Doha.

However, there we so many disappointments. Initially we asked for early checkin, the hotel staff had been aware of it and have mentioned that they'll try their best. But their best apparently was only close to 5pm. Further the Two bedroom suite we stayed in had a very bad odor , one that the hotel staff himself had to avoid by holding his nose. We have mentioned the issue to the reception and again were promised for a change. Its unfortunate that we came with nothing done and a room refreshener to be added at 10pm which clearly did not resolve the sewage smell. From there onwards, we were not offered an upgrade , but another same suite with a restriction of checkout timings. The staff were aware of the sewage problem and mentioned that because of overcapacity they did not communicate this to any of the guests. Its truly a disappointment and our expectations of a hotel stay in St Regis was totally not worth it.

Most of I liked was the hospitality and the kindness of everyone with no exceptions. The suit was very comfortable and amazing. The view was gorgeous and fantastic.

Bad services and no value for money

The breakfast was very good

The room i have been given was ok in the first night however from the second night we started smelling sewage smell and we called the call center several times but no one was answering. on the 3rd night the smell became stronger and of the toilets was flooding. we have been offered a move to another room but since it was our last night at the hotel we decided to stay in the same room but request the duty manager to have someone cleans the flooding toilet and put some refresher and as expected he went and no one came. Another major hygienic issue, our room was cleaned-not proper cleaning-and the cleaner put our food leftovers next to out room and it took them more that 24 hours to clear the food tray and this is after i told them. The same was with the room next to my room.
