Exceptional

A truely delightful and relaxing stay

The hotel is beautiful and staff are excellent, a true 5 star experience. We really enjoyed the breakfast, with a wide selection of quality products, again staff attention was great. The pools were lovely, being one with salt water! The kids enjoyed the kids aqua park. We also used the spa, which had excellent facilities and friendly staff.

It would have been nice to have direct sea access.

We had a wonderful stay there

We love the stay at the Royal Senses - we booked two grand sea view rooms and with Hilton membership we got an upgrade to two top floor villas with big terrance and private pool. That made a great start of the trip for us! The breakfast was exceptional with lots of varieties and plenty of fresh fruits and drinks. We loved the public pools too with one heated and one saltwater pool of sea water temperature to choose from. The kids pool was nice too and properly heated in the afternoon. The staff were really helpful and kids friendly. The service we received there was beyond expectation.

There are three restaurants for dinner - so after a few days we would crave for some change.

The Best Place in Crete!

Our recent stay at the Royal Senses Resort & Spa in Crete was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, the staff's warmth and professionalism set the tone for an exceptional experience. What made it even more special was the unexpected upgrade to a Family Room with a small garden for our little kid. The service at Royal Senses is truly top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our stay was delightful. The resort's commitment to cleanliness added an extra layer of reassurance, allowing us to relax and enjoy the great facilities such as the pools, spa, restaurants, small aqua park and even the children's club. In summary, Royal Senses Resort & Spa Crete exceeded my expectations. From the luxurious accommodations to the impeccable service, every detail was thoughtfully curated. I highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a memorable and indulgent getaway in Crete. We are already looking forward to the next visit.

It has very nice architecture and interior design

When we arrived the room ( and it was a suite with private pool) had a bad smell. There was a complimentary plate of fruits that was wrapped with transparent plastic but had instincts in it. When we tried to contact the customer service they replied a day after very late asking if we want someone to fix but it was very late And they didnt come to take the plate and 2 days after they sent us a new fruit plate almost at the end of our stay their ! The private pool wasnt isnt so private (not worth the hype). Shortly bad costumer service

The hotel decor and vibe was amazing, the spa and pools were incredible.

Not all the staff were friendly and helpful. Some really seemed uninterested and unprofessional. We waited ages for room service too. It was our honeymoon and no special touches or services were provided.

very relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings

beautiful hotel, stylishly decorated, friendly staff. Our family suite was spacious and comfortable, with a daily gift in the form of fresh fruit and sweets. beautiful swimming pools with comfortable sunbeds. Breakfast buffet is very extensive and we always had lunch at the pool bar, which has a small but excellent menu with plenty of vegan options.

the beach is not attractive, a kind of surrogate bay has been created with concrete blocks, without any view over the sea, only accessible by shuttle or 5 minutes walk on a road that is not suitable for pedestrians. The dinner buffet is mediocre, especially considering the price. But the towns of Panormos and Rethymons are easy to reach by taxi and offer plenty of restaurants

Disappointing

Unfortunately our stay here was average. Nothing to rush back for

The rooms were spacious and the private pool was lovely. The hotel gave us a complimentary upgrade from a shared pool to a private pool.

The check in process was bizarre, whilst staff were doing their best and what was instructed of them, being asked to sit multiple times whilst traveling all day with a baby was frustrating. Instead of a normal check in process at the front desk they try to hard to make it special when in fact guests just want to be shown to their room. The food from the pool bar and lunch restaurant was below standards in Greece and for a 5 star resort. The cable cart was incredibly slow and painful. All in all, the location was not great, the food was borderline bad and I didnt find it was value for money.
