The Magellan Sutera Resort has a fantastic location with many activities available, although they may cost extra. The service is poor, with distracted staff who are not eager to help, especially at t (Read More)he pool. The rooms and public areas are dated and in need of renovation. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the breakfast had a variety of options. The resort has beautiful views and facilities for families. The check-in process was slow, but the rooms were spacious and functional. Overall, the resort is recommended for its location but may not meet the standards of other resorts in the area.

We enjoyed our stay at The Magellan Sutera Resort ! It is relaxing and comfortable !!!

Rooms are clean, comfortable , with fast wifi connection and excellent view from the room balcony. Buffet breakfast at Five Sail Restaurant has wide spread of asian & western choices . Lunch and afternoon snacks at Alfresco were satisfying. Sitting by the pool bar or in our room balcony , the view of sunset is spectacular.

This is a big property, wish to see more directory signages to direct us back to our rooms in the lobby and all f&b outlets. Lounge service staff should pay more attention to their customers, i was served without spoon for a bowl of sticky rice/ice cream. Took abit of time to wave at them for the spoon.

Great disappointment.

Location.

This so called 5 stars hotel is an embarrassment to the Sabah tourism. It needs to be overhauled n renovated. Towels and bedsheets are yellow, the designs of the furniture still in their early 90s. The glory days of Magellan is gone. The front desk staff dont seem to know the protocol for inquiries, information given are different from the owner of this page are different.

Awesome . I look forward to my next stay in The Magellan Sutera Harbour for my next trip to KK.

I was impressed by the hospitality of the staff, especially the concierge who was very helpful in assisting us when we arrived. My 8-year-old grandson, his first time here, really enjoyed the swimming pool.
