    This is a wonderfully situated property in a picturesque village. The staff were welcoming and accommodating. Absolutely a memorable experience.

    The location was excellent as was the staff.
    The only concern was the bed and pillows, which were uncomfortable.

    great stay would recommend
    The location! It is next to the sea, 5 minutes walk to a beach where you could find sea shells and seals. The staff is absolutely amazing too. They even made the sofa bed sheet and duvet for our kids before arriving.
    The floor could be creaky, we are on the second floor, and could hear our kids walking in the same room. But I assume it is common for a sea shore inn.

    Well located but dated. Communitcation with staff was iffy.
    Excellent location, close to sight seeing areas. Could walk to numerous attractions and restaurants.
    a bit noisy due to traffic on a tourist laden street. Dated and worn furniture needs a refresh.

    Will be coming back most definitely.
    Scripps Inn is a sweet little hotel right on the bluffs of La Jolla shores. You can take your coffee out and drink it with a view. Just a little stroll north there is seal beach and a lot of nice restaurants. The room itself was spacious and had everything we needed. Room service is on demand only which we really appreciated. Staff is very friendly and will accommodate you every which way possible. Our room didnt have a kitchenette only a coffee maker and coffee but that was fine with us.
