There is not enough space in the bathroom, in the morning it is inconvenient to put yourself in order.

Convenienctly located but I wouldnt stay again as didnt sleep well due to uncomfortable/old matress.

Amazing central location, welcoming staff, good value for money.

The bed was uncomfortable, mattresses and duvets needed replacing as clearly quite old.

Great location, fun evening activities. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, they offered free towels and coffee and tea.

Some of the volunteers/employees were clearly not very enthusiastic about working there. The guy who worked reception when I arrived wouldn't have told me anything about the evening activities if I hadn't asked about them and when I asked about recommendations of what to do in Edinburgh he basically told me to look things up myself. You can also not stay before check-in or after check-out and have to store your luggage at another hostel. That's all fine, but I've definitely been to more welcoming and accomodating hostels.

A week in paradise.

Location and the people, the staff were fantastic, friendly, accommodating and apparently all dans of The Beatles which was a nice surprise. The French guy and Hawaiian lady in particular were just lovely (if they are reading this its Russell Brand leaving this review

Very central, clean, just used it as a base for the night after visiting Edinburgh.

Couldn't guarantee a lower bunk so had to arrive as soon as opened at 3om to make sure I got one.

Incredibly cost effective solution to stay right in the middle of the old town of Edinburgh. Incredible location, very friendly staff and other guests, its nothing fancy but incredibly friendly and more than good enough for the price.

Generally clean accommodation. Especially bathroom and toilet facilities. I was impressed that the kitchen used by different people from different backgrounds was actually very clean. Loved the breakfast set up. Liked the small lamp for each bed. Liked that the lockers had keys Love that food isn't allowed in the rooms

I'm quite a big girl so climbing to the top bunk wasn't quite easy but I guess that's not their problem but mine My room lock was difficult to open with the key. We all had to manipulate it over and over again to get it to open My locker key was also difficult to use
