Location good, would expect to be better if given the room booked.

Booked ground floor (specified & confirmed per booking) unit specifically for my 86 yo mum for 3 pa as she needs a walker and struggles with stairs. Given 1st floor unit up stairs. 1x 2 seat lounge despite booking for a 2 bed unit for 3 people. Unit at front of building overlooking Cairns Hospital (not garden outlook per photos). 1 person had to sit on a dining table chair. All 4 dining chairs have no cushioning left and we're not very comfortable, had to grab a cushion to sit on. 2 people checked in just before us and assume they were given the room originally booked by us, including a photo of a 3 seater lounge with garden outlook! When we booked in late afternoon the unit reeked of bleech and still had wet slippery floors. Really bad news for oldies, had to wipe the floors down so mum wouldn't slip/fall over. Had to open all the doors etc to get rid of the overpowering bleech smell. Was told we should have called to confirm ground floor despite the booking confirmation clearly stating 2 bed ground floor - spent a long time finding a 'ground floor' unit to book. Dishwasher also had a paper sign saying 'out of order'. Left embarrassed as I booked this!

Cyclone Jasper couldnt beat the warmth and hospitality of Royce

Royce the guys looking after the place is a true superstar, what a lovely bloke. Bit of a funny one for us as we landed in day before Cyclone Jasper, but Royce was great. Location was brilliant, facilities good, didnt use the pool but it looked great

Management and staff were excellent. Very friendly and went out of their way to help.

Rooms could do with a bit of renovation. Not really a problem, but would improve the overall experience.

We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

The management and staff were welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. The kitchenette was very clean and had sufficient appliances although we ate out at night and didnt cook. The apartment was quiet with lovely morning sun and very centrally located. A relaxing pool area with bbq facilities. Within walking distance to the two hospitals and restaurants and tourist precinct, no street noise. The area felt safe and people were friendly.

The screen door to the balcony was somewhat awkward to open. A coffee plunger would be good!

Very good

Walkable to downtown Cairns, Muddy's Playground and the Lagoon. All amenities as advertised and in working order. The unit is aging but it seems there are renovations in progress across the units. Lovely front desk and easy to follow late check in process.
