I was visiting for a few days and I was not familiar with hostels and how they work but I found the staff to be very helpful and kind. The facilities were clean and well organized, and the location is convenient. You can borrow hairdryers and rent towels, which comes in handy when traveling light. I suppose there werent many people staying at the time of my visit because everything felt really quiet and I rarely bumped into people in the corridors or facilities.

The room I was staying in (female only, 6 people) didnt look like the pictures I saw while booking, but more like the ones shared in the reviews. When full the room feels really cramped, but for a few night stay I didnt find it hard to adapt. The showers on the same floor are spacious and a small chair is provided but no hangers, so I recommend bringing some detachable ones.

Great Experience!

Everything from staff to facilities were top notch! I had amazing time here. Very good common room to hang out. Kitchen had all the necessary equipments. Toilets and shower rooms were well maintained.

If they had clothes hangers in shower rooms would be good. Apart from that no complaints.

The location and staff are good but it was not really a nice stay overall.

The staff is very nice and they try their best to help. The location is excellent, right in between New town and Old town. The room is big.

A lot of people are checking in in the middle of the night so it was very disturbing. The locker was not working well so it created a lot of noise. The bathroom was not very user friendly as there is no hook.

Very good

If I come back to Edinburgh I will consider this hostel again.

The staff were super kind and nice. The hostel is clean although to common stairs for the building were dirty (Something usual in the city. I am not complaining about it)
