This Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites in Pigeon Forge is highly recommended for families with young kids. The water park exceeded expectations, and the continental breakfast had a variety of option (Read More)s. The gym was clean, and there is a pet parrot in the lobby. However, the walls are not soundproof, but the hotel is mostly quiet at night. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The hotel is conveniently located near downtown Gatlinburg and has ample parking. The breakfast is well-organized, and the water park is great for kids. The rooms are clean and fresh, and the staff is helpful. The only drawbacks are the cold water in the splash pad, limited shower pressure, and occasionally dealing with smoke outside the doors. Overall, it is a great place to stay with good amenities and proximity to nearby attractions and food options.

We enjoyed our Holiday

Great parking, the breakfast was awesome because the staff made it great, and everyone was friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The jacuzzi spa was an added bonus.

This location is doing some minor remodeling - it will be beautiful when its done. They are doing their best not to impact guests, but there were times it became annoying.

Room was very out dated couch was falling apart the arms we barely hanging on. coffee pot did not work refrigerator didnt keep drinks cold bathroom situation toilet in one room with door no sink. shower was in open area between living room and bedroom it only had a shower curtain tub was also in open room there was sinks but you had come out of little toilet room to wash your hands

I probably wont stay at this hotel again. It was very outdated and nothing like the reviews.

Breakfast was ok but hardly any room to sit when you ate. The lady running the breakfast was extremely busy but kept everything stocked up.

Every night when we return to our room the whole 2nd floor smelled like marijauna. The strongest smell and could smell it in our room pretty bad! We called down and complained so they investigated but couldnt smell smoke so they didnt do anything about it. They did agree with us that the 2nd floor smelled bad of it. They could have knocked on doors to see where it was coming from but they chose not to. Instead our whole trip we had to continue smelling it every time we arrived back to our room at night. The hotel was very outdated. The lobby was clean and update but not the rooms.

This is such a good nice friendly hotel. We love everything about it when we stay. The breakfast is so good too!

Pool area is in need of an update but looks like they may be in the works. Not sure. But my kids still enjoyed it.

Comfy beds and good sleep, with many minor room annoyances.

Location is great. Its central to everything, yet just enough off the main strip to ensure its quiet. The bed was comfy as well. Staff were helpful and nice. Plenty of parking. Breakfast foods were good, though lacked variation. Bathroom was very large with huge tub. Rooms seemed to have decent soundproofing and we didnt have any issues with noises from other rooms or the street. Shades on windows were also great to keep out light.

Multiple minor things added up. First, upon arrival I asked before going to room if there was bedding for the pull out couch and was told yes. We get to the room and there is zero. I ask for some to be sent up while we were out - get back late to find only sheets and pillow was sent - no blanket and had to go back down to get one. The staff were nice and helped each time, but having to ask 3 times to get what we needed was annoying. Second, this is a big hazard and issue to me - when you enter the suite you enter the LR, then bathroom, then bedroom. The lock to the bathroom is on the living room side - so not only could kids come in to the bathroom when they wanted, but they could ACTUALLY LOCK US IN! Once locked from the outside - anyone in the bathroom or bedroom is trapped (we checked to see if it could be opened from inside and it could not). Next, there was no soap at one of the sinks and the other had a soap that is all the way at the back locked to the wall - meaning only one sink can be used to wash hands and kids and myself cant even reach it - I had to go buy hand soap on vacation. There wasnt near enough towels. There were no towel bar or hooks in the bathroom to hang any towels up. Light switches were a pain to find and some didnt work. Beware- bed is very high. Breakfast had a super long line and no variation from day to day.
