Good stay in cairns

Staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable and the privates had a big TV with Netflix. Decent bathrooms and kitchen area and free gym passes and free breakfast every morning

Kitchen was small for the amount of people and bathrooms could be a little cleaner, the fridge room was a bit smelly and another indoor common area would be a good idea

Hostel common area is large and spacious and is a good place to chill out or meet people. Was here during the cyclone and it held out well in the rains as well. Lots of bathrooms so you never have to wait and they are cleaned and restocked regularly

Great stay at MM

I completely loved my stay. The staff was lovely, the room and bathrooms were clean, and the atmosphere in general was great. It was the perfect place to meet new people and have a good time.

Amazing stay, with amazing people. Just lovely

A lovely hostel with amazing people! I came here while travelling north. Although i was only here for one night, i had a wonderful day/night, i even met a travelling buddy to travel further with! Just amazing. The hostel was very clean has a nice common area and a nice pool! Happy that i chose this hostel and i would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay here for work or only for a few days!! :)

An amazing experience with lovely people and nothing bit good vibes

I love the spacing of the property with different areas to hang out at. The pool is lovely and an amazing spot to refresh yourself while taking a dip. The staff are great and very helpful. One of the best hostels with a very warm vibe, Ive been to so far.

Nothing at all actually. The location is great, the facilities are clean and well maintained and the rooms and beds are great with ACs in every room.

Board games available. Comfortable mattresses. AC on 24hrs in the room. Possible to make friends if you are an outgoing person.

The kitchen was too full at cooking times and it was hard to find a place to prepare or eat my food. The lock and the room key were not working properly and it usually took some time to get it open. This was very frustrating. The fridges for guests were definitely not good - they did not keep the food properly refrigerated and some of my food went bad. This was a waste of money and a health risk. I had two rude situations with staff members who were unprofessional and disrespectful. One of them did not tell me the hostel charges taxes for card payment and became rude when I complained that I wanted to have known. The other one ignored my request to lower the volume of his speaker in the common area, making it very uncomfortable for others to stay around.

Cheap and free breakfast

Way too noisy. Music from morning to evening, played by the staff during their day off. The common area is not comfy at all so if it's raining you can just stay in your room. Everywhere there are some signs on the risk of fines if you check out too late or whatever.

I really liked the atmosphere here as the friendly staff made you feel welcome right from the start as well as the guests. It was clean and close to the shops and the esplanade. My favourite was the pool and the free breakfast every morning :) will definitely come back!
