ROOM NOT READY BY 8PM EVEN AFTER 1HR WAIT

Coffee provided on the ground floor in the morning. The room was spacious.

The room was not ready even at 8pm! No reasonable compensation was given. Automated texts to check in how we are doing by using a totally wrong name (clearly showed they didn't care about us and/or were aware of their failure). Hairs and oily tubs even after one hour of wait (the room was definitely not clean to our liking), used contacts were on the floor (none of us use contacts), a smart phone was left out in the room (again, not ours). Simply put, horrible experiences, and again no personal apologies or proposed compensation other than manual $100 credit, which we refused (why would they expect us to use their facilities when we had a bad start and continuous bad experiences?!). As of now, we still have not heard anything from the hotel - very disappointing.

This hotel was located in such a good location in proximity to restaurants and bars. We received exceptional service from Mauricio and Josh. They made us feel welcome and accommodated to our needs. They truly made our experience outstanding!! Our room was clean & spacious enough for me and 2 others. The pool area is so cute & perfect for lounging. Overall, it was a stay that exceeded my expectations. I would definitely come back!

Superb

Comfortable rooms and great breakfast

The staff was super friendly, the room was spacious, the breakfast was great, location is good. The bed was super comfy. I would probably visit this hotel again when i would go back to San Diego.

my first room was on a lower floor, quite near the extremely loud rooftop aircon system of the low neighboring building. It's not possible to go to sleep with a window open. Later I switched rooms, very high up, hardly any noise at all.

Exceptional

Once in a lifetime trip

We loved the aesthetics of the hotel. It was beautiful. The staff were so nice everyday. We really enjoyed the cocktail hour with wine and appetizers.

The only negative I have were the few homeless people near the hotel. Most of them were no bother but a couple of them were just very detestable and obnoxious. I know that is nothing the hotel can control though.
