The bar was terrific. Great bartenders. Good product in the bath.

Bathroom very dated. No charger plugs in the room. Mattress too soft!

Lovely hotel that would benefit from some updates.

Great location. Wonderful staff. Excellent breakfast. Great old architecture and style.

Room lighting was dark. Mattress was very soft. Bathroom needs updating. Needs soundproofing.

Disappointing

Lovely old school vibe. Staff were very helpful.

Booked a spa suite, the spa was no more a spa than if I had passed wind in the tub. The jets had a nearly negligible effect. Quite disappointing. Also our bed had various hairs that werent ours all over the sheets.

Nice

The hotel itself is gorgeous. Its kept its charm and I love that. The location is really good, close to everything.

This is more an issue with the on-site restaurant rather than the hotel itself and Im sure this is likely a post-Covid issue but they seemed to have staffing issues. The restaurant staff were terrible. They clearly did not want to be there at all and the service was so poor. The food was also very average and flavourless. The high tea was good. Not great. Not worth the price.

Nice place, pretty bathroom, balcony doors are screwed shut

Beautiful house, nice decor

You can't open the balcony doors. They are screwed shut. We unscrewed the doors to let some air into the room and screwed them shut again before we left. Weird.
