Good for a short visit

Clean. Plenty of space in kitchen and walk in fridge. Great location, minimal noise from the street. Good view

Kitchen closed at 10pm and all locked up so no access to your food. Same with lounge area.

Pretty decent but mattress really needs replacing!

Great location with clean rooms. The shared kitchen is probably the best weve seen in a hostel - lots of space and seating available and it was cleaned regularly.

Our mattress was incredibly uncomfortable, you could literally feel every single spring and they really dug into our ribs - so unfortunately we didnt sleep well at all. Also you cant control your own air con.

Excellent value for the price

Global Backpackers is in the heart of Cairns so very easy access to several activities. The facilities are good and clean. The AC is a must and we had one in the room. Even though is nearby many clubs we didn't feel any disturbing noose. I would stay there again

I think the internal noise insulation could be improved because we heard when people in the aisle and kitchen.

Basic stay great location

Perfect location

We had a private room. Basically just a bunk bed in a room. Also this is petty but no shower gel in the showers. We've been away for 3 months and even the most basic accommodations we've been in have soap.
