Superb

A very cozy place emanating good vibes. The friendly owner and staff take good care of keeping the place tidy, welcoming, and clean. The toilet, bathroom, and kitchen spaces are more than adequate for the number of guests and perfectly functional. The location of the building is also ideal: just outside of the city center, which still lies within a 1520 minute walking distance at a leisurely pace, the place is also close to shops and convenience stores. Definitely recommended!

Quiet, comfortable and welcoming.

It was nice and quiet. Close to grocery stores and nightlife, but not right in the center of the busy part of town. There were lots of small areas to enjoy and relax around the hostel which meant lots of peace and quiet as opposed to one loud central area. Tim, the manager was great!

A cozy place to stay in Cairns if you look for something simple for a good value.

The staff was very helpful and kind, the location is excellent, the swimming pool, inside garden and common areas are charming and inviting to stay. You can park your car for free in front of the hotel. The people seem to respect the quiet policy from 10 pm, so you can have a peaceful night. I stayed only 2x one night, this place seems to be most fitting for self-sufficient people who like to cook and stay for a couple of days in a double room.

Only point that was less good, the single room is not really generous with space, so if you open a suitcase, almost the whole room is blocked. No towels provided, be prepared. Also the small fridge in the room is quite noisy, if anyone is sensitive sleeper, should unplug it for the night.
