This Courtyard by Marriott in Albany/Troy, NY is a clean and updated hotel with great amenities. It offers beautiful views of the Hudson River and has comfortable beds and a well-equipped fitness roo (Read More)m. However, some improvements could be made in terms of staff friendliness and the surrounding area, which is undergoing gentrification. Overall, it is a nice property, but a vehicle is necessary for nearby activities and walking to places is not recommended.

Back twice, would come with particulars as to location

Personnel was very good and worked to please.

Extend breakfast and coffee hours, provide more in room coffee, towels etc in lieu of maid on multiple nights stay. End of hotel near the traffic light was noisy, next time moved to other end and up and it was nicer.

OVERPRICED

Hotel, staff and room was very nice

Paid $250 for 1 night. Paid another $25 for 2 small fruit and yogurts.NO COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST. i wasn't about to pay double for a less than average hotel fast food breakfast.

The outdoor terrace fire pit. The enclosed glass staircase!

A bit expensive for a chain hotel in Troy, NY. Troy has Rensselaer College and not much else we came to realize. Probably was a booming city back in the day with the factories in full operation. The moment we arrived and parked our vehicle on the property, we were briefly accosted by a man requesting $. Not an ideal welcome to the hotel.
