Disappointing

Poor experience for five stars.

Staff are always great. Breakfast is great.

Fridge in room not working, no milk, room service trays left in hallways most of the day, filthy halls (litter and lint), the lobby in L2 (on the way to pool) smelt mouldy. Check out took a very long time. Short staffed by the feel of the place. All very disappointing.

Disappointing

We waited for a long time to check-in. When we went to our room, the room was a mess. Lots of linens on the floor and some rubbish. We went back to inform the reception then waited for some time again. Then we got assigned to a room. Have to make calls again as body wash bottle was empty and there was only one towel. Within our 4-day stay they didn't really clean the room. It was dusty and the bath has some black marks which look like molds.

Really disappointed with our recent stay, I used to stay here all the time but havent been for a while. We booked a last minute trip and the hotel has gone down hill, dramatically. Room wasnt ready Wouldnt accept my debit card Receptionist was unfriendly Shop was empty, tried to buy candles and no one could help Breakfast was missed not delivered No hair dryer in room One person on check out

Disappointing

Disappointing 2 day stay.

Not much I liked about cordis. Beds were comfortable but the Master rooms were small. Gym was set up weird in rooms. The rooms were too hot with no aircon. The roof of one room in the gym was leaking which flooded the floor.

Family getaway with my family of 6. I paid for two Master rooms and one of our rooms was not available until 22:30 on the 31/12/23 after we checked in at 16:00. I understand it was a busy time but I had to keep calling them for an ETA. I was very disappointed at the lack of communication and getting cut off when I called room service to check the availability of my other room. They should have been prepared for the rush and had more staff on to work this day. I was offered a late check out from 11:30 to 1pm? After I requested for it? I expected more from Cordis instead I left & will not return.

Excellent - exceeded expectations

Although we had a busy check in, staff made sure our stay was satisfactory. We were provided a complimentary wine and the duty manager made himself available if required.

The hotel was beautiful

Check in at 3pm, our room wasn't ready until 5.15pm, no sorry no nothing Eight restaurant quote on what's app speaking to a staff representative was a different price... Dinner cost double at payment I have emailed the hotel but no response
