Great staff, rooms, breakfast, boutique hotel

Helpful and cheerful staff. Lovely nights there, in our two nights we saw a movie screened and some live music. Great room view (pool access was amazing). Breakfast was superb. Had a huge family bed, so comfortable. All in all highly recommend. What an oasis on beautiful Railay.

Some mosquito in the room. Had trouble sleeping due to it. Good night machine provided but perhaps it doesn't impact the pest. Purchased some mosquito gel which helped.

Hotel with potential but sloppy management

Good location near Railay East Peer. Modern hotel with nice swimming pool in the shade. Personnel friendly but often clueless.

The toilet is separated from the sleeping room only through a half high glass door. This means you can hear and smell everything going on there. During the first two days, the room was not cleaned. When I complained, I was informed that the cleaning personnel had already left. We were told that daily cleaning had to be requested explictly, but no-one told us about this rule during check-in. The electricity broke down several times at night. In those cases, the lights in the room switched on automatically, and it was not even possible to switch them off! I have never experienced this anywhere else. The breakfast was no longer filled up in the last 30 minutes, and options were quite limited for vegetarians. During check-out we were asked to pay for services we had not used.

Great stay

Lovely little hotel, nice big rooms with comfy beds. Lovely balcony area (but beware of the monkeys as we left our door open and then spotted a monkey on the balcony across!). Nice pool, doesnt see much sunlight but nice for a dip to cool down. Lovely staff.

A large, airy room with a comfy area on the balcony to chill after using the small pool.

Nice touches like beach towels in a bag. After travelling for a while it was comforting to have Netflix available when chilling in our room. Lovely big bed. The anti mozzie plug in was essential.

Breakfast was disappointing. We arrived an hour before it finished and most things had run out and werent replenished. They did get the coffee machine going again thankfully!

Great place to stay, private pool room was excellent, staff very friendly and good location.

We loved our stay at the Avatar, we had a private pool room which was wonderful, staff are excellent especially a lady by the name of Miss Pu, she was great fun. Breakfast was ok and we didnt have any dinners at the hotel. Room was clean and aircons worked well, bed was very comfortable.

Watch the monkeys around the pool, everything else was great.

Nice break in Thailand

Great views, small hotel, good breakfast, good internet, peaceful vibes

That the swimming pool opens so late and closes so early (10am to 8 pm). The sea is not so cool to swim into it (smells like public toilets) but this is not the guilt of the hotel!
