Excellent stay

Service is exemplary. Right from.check in to providing complementary organic fruits , plum cake and spices on check out. Property is close to nature as possible. The evening shows were icing on the cake. The complementary buffet with a 3 hour traditional dance show on Christmas eve was top notch. We had a breakfast and Dinner included plan and meals were great. Food was delicious and catered to varied taste buds. Booked afternoon bird tour with sunset sighting with In-house naturalist Mr Chandra Sekhar. Which turned out to be excellent. He is quite knowledgeable and took us on great afternoon birds tour.

Nothing to complain. Since we booked on Peak Christmas time the room rates were high. But the services made up for the high cost.

Extremely disappointing

Location was good

For the price we paid, we got very poor quality of facilities. Firstly, one does not mind paying a price for the right quality. However, this property had the following issues : 1. Very average quality of infrastructure and facilities - rooms were below par in terms of ambience, facilities and aesthetics. It was not tastefully done. Bathroom was not squeaky clean, had stains on all fittings, there was noise in the room throughout the night from AC of the neighbouring room as well as water flow somewhere close. Furniture was of moderate quality. The quality of linen and bathroom towels was below average. 2. There was no gym in the hotel 3. The quality of common sitting area or lobby was quite below average. 4. The ambience and the aesthetics of the restaurant was poor. It looked like a low middle class place. 5. The food was very oily, healthy options were limited 6. They seem to recruit local staff but have not invested in their training. Most of them are not well groomed and have poor communication and hospitality skills 7. Overall ambience of the place except of the area around the swimming pool was decidedly very much below international or even good 4 star hotels. Overall, the property clearly gives the feeling of being run by a hyper local Indian group with no sense of international standards of hotel facilities, ambience, sense of hospitality and basic guest expectations from a good 3/4 star hotel which is what this property is presented as on the websites.

GREAT COMFORTABLE STAY

THE FOOD WAS EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD AND TASTY. EVENING LOCAL SOLO DANCE BY THE LADY DEPICTING CULTURE AND TRADITION WAS FABULOUS.

COMMUNICATION WITH THE STAFF WHICH WAS LOCAL, WAS A BIT DIFFICULT AS MOST OF THEM NEITHER KNEW HINDI OR ENGLISH. THE TEA KETTLE PROVIDED IN THE ROOM SHOULD BE OF STEEL AND NOT PLASTIC WHICH IS HARMFUL FOR HEALTH.

Decent quality hotel reasonably close to Hampi

Staff were their best asset. Really lovely, friendly local people being trained up. Great idea for the local community. Pool/ gardens were lovely too. Food was reasonably good. Standard of cleanliness was good.

It needs a generator to cope with the power cuts. It needs a comfortable lounge where you can relax- the bar is quite comfortable but there were never any staff ( until you called them) and we were not allowed to play cards in the bar.

Exceptional

Beautiful hotel

The entire complex is beautiful. It is located a few kilometers away from Hampi, but you have taxis or tuk-tuks available at very reasonable prices. The staff at the resort is extremely friendly and helpful at every step. The rooms are very clean, as is the pool and the entire complex. The resort has everything you need, from diverse food options to various massages and excursions in the surrounding area. I would particularly like to commend Manju Ato, the tuk-tuk driver who took my spouse and me to all the nearby attractions. With him, we spent 4 unforgettable days and gained an incredible insight into local life, including food, history, lakes, rivers, the city, markets, and shops. He speaks excellent English and knows every corner of Hampi and its surroundings. In addition to him, we would also like to praise the guide Ray, who organizes safaris that you must go on. In a jeep, you traverse the national park with Ray, who is full of information about birds, bears, reptiles, etc. We had a wonderful day, so I highly recommend a safari with such an experienced guide. In short, my spouse and I spent 4 unforgettable days at the resort. For us, it was a wonderful experience, and we hope to return.

Very good

Was a pleasant stay overall..

Overall property was good. But needs maintenance. Nothing in play area was maintained well. Not even AC! Food was good. Staff in kitchen were helpful.

Felt that it was expensive compared to the facilities provided.. nearly 15k per day anyone wud definitely be expecting more.. needs improvement in many regards.
