The location of the hotel was great and at first sight a beautiful hotel but didnt meet our expectations at all.

It was a nice surprise to hear on arrival that we had been upgraded to one of their new suits. Unfortunately it wasnt ready for occupancy and the problems we had with the room put a real dampener on what was suppose to be a romantic night away.

As I say above the new suit we were upgrade too wasnt ready for occupancy. As they explained it had been signed off but the problems we had are as follows; -Key fob not working reliably on outside door so we had to go back and forth to reception for help. - The toilet had been leaking in our bathroom so we threw a towel down on the big puddle and left it there to soak up the leak. - bulbs werent fitted in all the lamps so couldnt be used. -The shower would only run boiling hot, so couldnt be used. Had to walk to another room in the hotel to shower our robes after having a plumber in our room inspecting it. - Another disappointment was that the lobby bar/ lounge was shut on a Friday evening which we would have liked to have sat and relaxed. We only had 1 night booked so we left feeling very disappointed, especially with the price we paid to stay in a nice hotel. We have requested a full refund or at least an offer to go back and have a better experience.

As a whole, for the one night, it did us well. Will return.

Perfect location. Had access in walking distance to all that Bath had to offer.

Sadly, it is a Bath problem and that there is no parking on the site.

We enjoyed our stay!

Location was great We enjoyed the bar/apres ski bar All staff were kind and welcoming.

The breakfast wasnt great. The hotel was expensive for the room we stayed in.

Very disappointing indeed

Location

Despite being advertised as having a bar and restaurant neither of them were open. There was no heating in our room. We had to ask several times for toilet paper and housekeeping. We had a kettle that didnt work and had to ask several times for this to be replaced. No re-stocking of tea/coffee. Cleaning was not done by cleaner. They were generally understaffed but thats not our problem and this break was our 30th anniversary. It was altogether very disappointing

Central Gem in Bath .

This hotel was surprisingly centrally located , and the staff went above and beyond unforeseen situations .

Unaware of the multiple levels on each floor. However it was nothing to hinder the experience .
