Exceptional

Absolute highlight of our holiday! Tranquil and luxurious, highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay, highlight of our trip so far. Our room was luxurious with a beautiful view to Little Adams Peak and Ella Rock. The location is excellent, you can walk up Little Adams Peak from the hotel and to 9 Arch Bridge. The town is close too, a short tuktuk away and easy to get from reception. We ate at the restaurant which had a lovely breakfast and dinner options were good, enjoyed a flute player one evening. Staff were excellent and very accommodating. 10/10!!

There are some building works going on but it didnt affect our stay and we couldnt hear anything. Our room by the pool and restaurant was a great location and further from this area, recommend asking for this if you can.

Superb

Beautiful stay in Ella!

Beautiful boutique hotel overlooking the hills of Ella. The room and balcony were stunning, food was excellent and service was faultless. Location is a little far from Ella (but short tuk tuk away) but you have little Adams peak and 9 Arches Bridge on your door step which are the primary attractions around Ella.

We had terrible weather which we really cannot blame on the hotel! But maybe a sheltered area for drinks other than the bar would have been nice. There was a beautiful pool and platform overlooking the hills where you could enjoy drinks that we didn't get to make the most of because of the weather.

Cheesy and chaotic

Nothing in particular.

Very chaotic. Cheesy! Dispersive and kept in bad conditions. We paid for a suite but it has nothing to do with a suite. Also the room forniture was old and not really clean. The breakfast was a buffet breakfast in really bad conditions... Its absolutely not worth the money! The spa is not a 5 stars spa. The stuff very hasty. They dont make you feel comfortable and special as for many other places weve been to.

Slightly disappointed in the quality and service for the price

Loved the location!

Felt the inside of rooms and communal dining area were worn out and needed a revamp. Also felt the service could of been better, didnt have our bed made when arriving into room, had to ask for turn down service one night and for water to be replaced.

Very good

Perfect for 2 night stay

Fabulous views of little Adams peak from bedrooms & restaurant. Staff were lovely. Room was fabulous, but walls must be very thin, we had a young noisy family staying in the next door room & we could hear the children shouting & running around at 10:30pm, which was annoying especially as we were having a very early start the next day. We enjoyed getting a Tuk Tuk down to Ella ( short ride) to have dinner in local restaurants. Enjoyed currys 1st night & at The Barn, the 2nd night which was very buzzy with a live band Nevertheless I would recommend 98 acres for its stunning setting & rooms

Note there is currently quite a lot of construction work going on -extension to outdoor dining area, new bedroom block. I appreciate there is no good time for a hotel to do building works but it was a shame that our massage treatments were accompanied by construction banging! For the quality of the hotel I think the quality of the breakfasts could be better/ more high end.

Very beautiful location, very friendly staff. Food was excellent whether local or western. Close to other attractions in Ella area and downtown.

This hotel is so incredible in many ways and worth a visit!

The check in was very efficient and not too long. The rooms were incredibly spacious, but also felt cosy and homely. The balcony was large and absolutely stunning with the gorgeous views, we loved sitting out there playing cards and watching the sun set. The bed was massive and very comfortable, the turn down service was amazing and the hotel even made us a happy honeymoon cake which was absolutely delicious. The breakfast was also very nice. I also liked that they provided a tuk tuk service as some of the rooms were down or up a hill.

I think being a five star hotel, we expected the rooms to be immaculate. They mostly were except one of the blinds was quite dirty. For the amount people pay, I would make sure rooms are thoroughly deep cleaned before the next guests arrive. But that is super picky as it was fabulous
