Superb

Beautiful grounds, yet short drive to restaurants and shopping.

Comfortable bed, Keurig coffee maker (only two pods of regular coffee, however). Very large, clean bathroom. Beautiful grounds.

Room heat difficult to change. No breakfast included. No microwave.

The front desk was very professional. The location of this hotel was right off 95.

For a four star hotel this was very disappointing. Im very surprised at the other reviewsThe parking lot at night was dim and very creepy behind the building. I had to walk with my daughter alone and felt unsafe. The rooms carpet was not clean. The heat made a loud bang every time it turned on and off it sounded like the door slamming and woke me up every time. The lights were bright cold LED lights. The bed was uncomfortable. There was no menu in the room for room service.

Beautiful grounds

We returned here after a great stay last year that we had booked through a different app. The room we had last year was at least a third bigger than this oneand with two teenagers and a dog, it makes a big difference. On top of that, our room seemed only partially above grade, and the tiny window added to the claustrophobic feel. More money this year, which made it more disappointing. With such a significant difference in room size, there should be a similarly tiered pricing.

A great location to unwind

Very quiet location - a great place to recharge. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the staff were very pleasant.

Restaurant was not convenient to the elderly as you had to walk outside a fair distance to the restaurant. This was also an issue as it rained heavily during our stay, so we in turn had to wait a bit to get to the restaurant.

Great stay as always!

I frequently stay at Virginia Crossing when I have business in Richmond. In my opinion its the best hotel for the money. The grounds are immaculate, the staff is A+ and the rooms are perfect. The breakfast buffet is delicious as well as the dinners in The Tavern. Both are just a walk across the beautifully landscaped courtyard. I cant say enough about Virginia Crossing. Im looking forward to staying again soon.

There has been a strange sound like an air tank filling up during the night. Also there is periodically a slight shaking of the room like a plane flew over. Its nothing to keep me from sleeping soundly but I could see it distracting some people from falling asleep. Not sure what it could be but Ive noticed it the last couple of times staying.
