Village Hotel Blackpool

We paid an extra 15 for a late check out which was 1pm, we then got woke up by house keeping 4 separate times for 11am. I spoke to the staff regarding my thyroid issues and that I dont eat much, they listened and sympathised but then charged me 15 and I ate a slice of jam on toast because there is only an option for the unlimited breakfast. The food is definitely not worth it, my partner said that the egg doesnt taste of egg and the food was disgusting. The other people in the cafeteria were conversing about the same thing around us also. The place we ate was not clean and packaged food was out of date. I paid nearly 170 for the club room and then added the twin room last minute for 57. The club room was no different other than it was a double bed, had a missing hairdryer, no view as advertised and the iron was burnt and stained our clothes. When I spoke to someone regarding the hairdryer, the man in the desk said I dont know what to suggest, another man helped us by finding one in the back. When I spoke to the manager who was a women about the food, pricing and my struggle to eat solid food, she stated well you couldve gone to Starbucks. When I also explained to her that we paid the late check out fee because my partner drove 2 hours after her 48 hour shift and she needed rest, the women also sniggered and said what does she do for a job that requires you to work 48 in a row, our job is bad but not that bad and found it amusing. We also went to Starbucks earlier in the day where the lady behind the counter passed me spray and a cloth our table and chairs and I had to take the previous plates and cups to them. The lady who I spoke to gave me a food voucher for 30 after explaining I cannot eat without choking and it wasnt good enough but stated thats all she could do (I managed to eat half the cheese and tomato childrens meal without the rest that came with it).
