Superb

The staff were excellent. Really friendly and helpful, everyone. Everything was clean and tidy. The food was great. Excellent value for money.

The decor is very dated but I can understand why they wouldn't spend millions on a refurb. They wouldn't get a return on the investment for years.

Nive refurbished room, spoilt by the dirty window you couldnt see through which was not a 'Sea View'

Nice refurbished room. Very nice bathroom - no bath but a good shower. Bar staff were very friendly.

MEant to be a Sea View room. The outside view was actually a side street, you could sea the see if you stood next to the window and looked sideways down the road. Also... the window was so dirty it was difficult to make out anything through it. I was told on arrival that we had to place a 50 deposit and that it was on the email I received confirming the booking. I booked through Booking.com and there was definitely nothing on any email related to a 50 deposit charge.

Fantastic staff, lovely clean room and great food

No mention when you book that the hotel takes a 50 'bond' which is appalling as we paid upfront. Although the hotel have an extra 50 of our money, we wasn't allowed to charge food to our rooms and even though we checked out on the 29th, I'm still waiting for it to be returned! If your travelling on a budget, this is an unfair extra charge for people to find.

We are becoming regulars as we find we have have all we want under one roof

I love the entertainment you really dont have to go out in the cold wet miserable weather

Couldnt get any heating saw a portable heater but didnt want to fall asleep with it on so it was a little cold

My stay was only short as I took ill & had to call an ambulance through the night only to be admitted & kept in

Public areas were nice. Entertainment was good.

Booked double & had extra single in room which made it cramped. No heating & no apology or comment from hotel staff. Breakfast understaffed. Bar expensive. Not happy that elderly & lame people were made to queue for food.

Just about everything apart from the entertainment, we paid 12 per night for parking over 2days and weren't able to Park our car ,I asked a fellow resident if they would kindly move there car over onto the one bay instead of 2 bays and I was told to f**K off when I complained to the management there solution was for me to double park and they would contact me if my car needed to be moved ,this I had to do 4 times a refund of the parking fee was refused
