Still enjoyed our stay

My room was the Doric suite on entering room was lovely until I noticed the roof leaking from quite a few parts but the staff were very helpful and did all they can to help this couldn't fault them. Also was no kids entertainment on so that was a downfall last time I was at this hotel kids lived the entertainment and were very disappointed when there was nothing on for them.also struggled to get a seat in the entertainment people from tea seemed to stay and take all seats so only got in one of the 3 nights

Twixmas stay

Hotel is clean and food always good quality. Room was front facing and had been refurbished. Staff helpful with any queries

Unfortunately during one of the stormiest times the heating in the hotel was not working. Freezing cold and kept coat on to stay warm on the first evening. Electric heater was provided and blanket in room but not very comfortable for the first night. Once heating repaired no further problems.

All the staff were lovely and so helpful. Service in the restaurant was excellent as was the entertainment.

We were in room 36 which was a lovely small room but the noise from maybe a generator or something outside kept me awake all night. It stopped at 7.45 when we were getting up.

Two couples who booked a hotel leisure stay for a new year break.

This hotel was spotless and the staff were all lovely. The bar prices were reasonable and all public areas are modern and welcoming.

We booked a quadruple room, which was located in what they call the annex. Which we did not know about until we received an email a couple of days before. The annex is a large house which is located at the back of the main hotel. So when going for meals or using any hotel facilities we had to leave the house and walk outside and in to the hotel. There are 4 rooms in the annex/house and our was lovely, spacious, clean and modern. Couldnt fault it however we still would have preferred to be in the main part of the hotel.

Superb

Disappointing spa but everything else was good.

Very good service in reception, bar and restaurant. Very good entertainment.

Very poor condition of pool/spa area, needs a total refurb. Toilets really poor flushing. Being asked on arrival at restaurant, Have you paid? This should be shown on restaurant list.
