Very good

Though clean room had no provision to keep luggage, we had put them on floor. Bath room nerds a stool to sit upon and take bath for elderly people. Check in and check out times must be atleast 18 hours.

We were delighted with our stay at Treebo. The staff were courteous, the room quiet and spacious.

The staff were courteous and helpful. The room was clean and spacious for a city hotel, a bonus was that the windows opened allowing fresh air.

Excellent individual property but HORRIBLE business practices by Treebo.

The property was excellent. However the brand TREEBO of which ESS Grande is just one property in one location is HORRIBLE. Details of that in "What I didn't like". Little to complan about the specific property as such. Rooms were excellent, the attention to detail was good and staff especially the gentleman at reception who once I reached him after a herculean effort in locating the reception number was very very helpful in giving me directions to the hotel patiently and assuring me not to worry about my late arrival as he reassured he will hold thex room. But trying to reach him was like climbing Mount Everest..Treebo just refuses to share the individual hotel contact. unless absolutely necessary The so called property contact number you get on booking (and even in Google...hotel staff says it is Teeebo rule) is nothing but the Treebo call center and not individual property. BEWARE. The l property ocation is good on a quiet street off one of the busiest main roads in Coimbatore. Although not the hotel's fault, the entire street from the main road is full of liquor shops and with this property at the furthest end, I would not think it will be very safe walking with womenfolk on that street late in the evening. Also the breakfast though good is served in a restaurant which is short staffed (atleast the day U had( and since the breakfast room is very small so you may have to wait a long time if 4 or 5 families land up together. This was the only irritating thing in an otherwise excellent stay.

The hotel ESS Grande I booked is a frqnchisee of "Treebo" chain. Treebo listed this propertyv iin booking. com as sayingcno prepayment is needed But almost immediately after the booking is confirmed they chain Treebo start semding emails and WhatsApp nmessqgesx PESTERING you to pay up in advance qnd that too full amount (my stay was 1 night) else they Treebo may cancel if there is "heavy demand. Becauseof this repeated email and WhatsApp harrasment, I infact cancelled my original booking made 1 week in advance almost immediately. I then again rebooked the day before actual stay (the "heavy demand " property still having rooms available) becauser eviewsof the specific property wer excellent. . Again the harrasment by Treebo for full advance payment continued right till I paid (not at Treebo but at the hotel). This is UNETHICAL practice by Treebo. If you want to attract booking.com customers be honest UPFRONT and do not list properties as " pay at property" and then start harrrasing you to pay up the next moment onwards. Booking.com should also monitor activities of their partner chains indulging in such unsavory practices. They can check the emails Treebo have sent on my booknngs (and the reason I cited for my one canceled booking) to verify my statements. If someone from Booking.com wants me to contact for more details, they are most welcome to do so.
