Recommend the Summer Lakeside Room

Clean and very hospitable. We were given access to other amenities in the house and not just our room. I chose the room as it was close to where we needed to get to for that weekend. And to save me from travelling backwards and forwards over the Gateway Bridge every day. Highly recommend to anyone wanting somewhere to stay. Close to Costco and the Bruce Highway as well. Allan and Suni lovely couple and will look after you.

Friendly, quiet, modern, clean.

First I like to address some of the other reviews which I would categorize as 'senseless whinging'. The room and the location are clearly described in the listing and the host is caring and approachable and happy to accommodate any special needs. Spacious room, bathroom, shower cubicle plus a walk in wardrobe for your luggage. Bed with excellent mattress and quality linen. Everything modern and spotlessly clean. Large LED TV, bar fridge plus coffee (real coffee) and tea making facility. Quiet residential location, host let me park off-street on his driveway and provided lead to charge my electric vehicle overnight. Host communicated well and quickly via messaging too. Overall my stay exceeded my expectations, something which rarely happens.

Unfortunately will not consider booking here again.

At time of booking and reason for booking over a 4 week period - it mentioned that guests can make meals in the kitchenette that comes with a stove top, a refrigerator, dishwasher and kitchenware, so did not have to buy food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. When arrived, was only allowed to use dishwasher! So could not use stove to make any meals and was not able to keep milk in fridge for a coffee. Very disappointed.

Clean, quiet, close to Redcliffe and Brisbane Airport.

Perhaps the photos are somewhat misleading because I thought there was a kitchen and some open, shared seating area. We had our own bedroom and bathroom and that was all.

A lovely quiet homestay. I will stay here again.

I chose this property because the location suited me for the purpose of my trip. It was quiet and very clean with a large TV and quality towels. The host Arpad was friendly and helpful. Parking across the road was good as I have direct line of sight of my car from the room.

There is nothing I did not like. It would be lovely if there is a kettle to make a cup of tea as I stayed for 4 nights. I did not ask as I did not want to disturb the host when I returned late at night. There is a fridge with soft drinks but not for me. A hairdryer would be good. I believe if I asked, the host may be able to provide.
